Ya Allah, help me help myself, from myself!
Excuse my messy Farsi handwriting and probably mis- spelt Farsi words (my Farsi isn’t that good) but here is a rough translation of the above poetry as I understood it but; nothing compares to poetry in its original language.
“How big is a heart which when it’s heavy, your feet can no longer carry it?
Are these not the same feet which in order to see you, would no longer feel the ground but, fly?
How big is a heart which when it’s in love, makes one so weightless?”
The most precious people in our lives are these kinds of people.

'... on the contrary, one must try to make one's life as pleasant as possible. I'm alive, that is not my fault, so I must live out my life as best I can, without hurting others.' . . . white person acts like a decent person for once, and the crowd goes wild!!!!
This is what ANY human being should do for any other human being. There is nothing unusual or heroic about it, it’s humanity.

Saying that Islam is in the heart is similar to giving back an exam paper completely white and saying: knowledge is in the brain.

Ramadan Kareem/Mubarak everyone! InshAllah I pray that we all take advantage of this month of nothing but blessings and mercy, to the best of our abilities. Ramadan is not merely a month in which you do not eat and drink anything for a few hours, it's not just a month to look forward to losing a few pounds and detoxing your body (although those are some of the benefits), but it is also a month in which you lose some if not most of the weight of all the sins and bad deeds/habits we have piled up on our soul and spirit, to detox our body, mind and soul of all built-up negativity and grudges. Whether it is a kind word, a smile, a helping hand, refraining from uttering a curse or a bad or unkind word, whether it is the seeking of forgiveness, the letting go of bad habits or the forming of new and better habits, inshAllah I pray that the sincerity with which you perform any of these actions, brings you Mercy, forgiveness and success from He Who has blessed us with this month in which to devote ourselves completely to all that is good and blessed. Alhamdulilah for being alive to take advantage of this year's month of blessings. "Tell whoso hath sorrow Grief never shall last. E'en as joy hath no morrow So woe shall go past." ~ The Arabian Nights One of my all-time favourite inspirational and hope inducing quotes 💕💕 Doesn't it just give that jolt that although you may be experiencing some problems, issues, heartaches, sorrows, unbearable pains in your life, if you just hold on one more day and one more sleep, there might be a better day tomorrow or the day after, but eventually it will get better, because nothing lasts forever. Otherwise it wouldn't be called lide and life wouldn't be as we know it, it would be worthless to have all happiness or all sadness or all joy or all sorrow. As I recently watched a TedTalk on youtube about accepting, opening ourselves up to our fears, habits, issues, cravings etc letting it in, acknowledging it and then doing something about it, we have to approach life in a similar way. Whatever we experience in our daily life we should accept it as another part of life and look at it being something that you either need to experience, to change you, empower you, change your views on life or to make you realise there's a need for change in your life or to make you move. We experience pain as a reaction that something is wrong. So if you're feeling pain no matter whether physically, emotionally or spiritually, then find out what it's because of and do something about it. I have no idea what I'm talking about sometimes, I just ramble and I think this is one of those times 😅 . . . . . #quotes #thearabiannights #favouritequote #journal #handmadejournal #themarblinggirl #madewithlove #journaling #writing #igreads #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookpandemic #booksandbeans #bibliophile #bibliomaniac #booknerd #certainbooks #bookishfeatures #bookflatlay #flatlays #vscojournal #vscojournals #bookstagramfeature #onthebed #bookphotography #vscobooks #vscoreads #vscocam #rsa_ladies
