i'm an awful, terrible, horrible person for wanting this, but Killems where they get into real bad argument and it escalates to where Adam physically hurts James in the heat of the moment after maybe James says something that really tips him over the edge (bonus points for crying james, DON'T JUDGE ME), but immediately regrets it and feels fucking terrible about it and spends days/weeks/MONTHS stressing out about it even after James forgave him (i know i am angst/drama trash FIGHT ME)
