Mezcal Old Fashioned - in a double rocks glass use two teaspoons warm water to muddle and dissolve 2 Demerara sugar cubes, add 8 drops Bittermens xocolatl mole bittersdrop in a fat ice cube, pour 2 oz Mezcal over the ice and stir to chill. The Copper Union - @deathandcompany saw this online and had to try since I’m an avid lover of @laphroaig - Rinse a double rocks glass with Laphroaig, add orange bitters and 1/2 oz. St. Germain @stgermaindrinks.fr , toss in a fat ice cube, 2 oz. Redbreast 12 yr. Irish Whiskey @redbreastwhiskeyus - yet another riff on an old fashioned. Here use whatever Smokey whisky you have, whatever aged whisky/whiskey you have. You’re replacing the typical sugar cube or syrup with the floral notes and sweetness of elderflower liqueur. An extremely well balanced yet complex cocktail. I recommend a light stir after adding the Redbreast so that the final sips are extra sweet and floral.
