“Sweets? I’m hungry. I want something heartier than sweets. A bakery might still have some good bread though. Let’s go!!”
Rat pointed in a random direction, and started walking. Since he was almost always lost, he usually wandered until he found what he was looking for.
“Huh...” Psyche started to watch Rat walk off in the complete opposite direction of the bakery, this was no good....
“No...it’s this way..” The boy grabbed Rat’s wrist and pulled him the other direction, walking at a fast walk towards the bakery with almost a skip in his step “And they’ve got lots to eat there! Sometimes Tsuki-san makes me really good sandwiches!”
Finally making it to the door of the bakery, Psyche pulled his friend inside before letting him go and running up to the employee’s only door, “Tsuki-san!” He shouted into the door. Before long a tall blond man was standing in front of Psyche.
“I’m hungry and so is my friend!” psyche giggled as the guy agreed to give them both lunch.
“I’m not a pet either.” Rat said, and squeezed Psyche a bit more. Letting him go, Rat stood up.
“I’m hungry, how about you?”
Standing back up quickly once he was released, Psyche grinned widely, “Mhmm! Do you have any sweets?” He chimed before thinking about it, probably not.
“Mm!” He waved his arms about very excitedly, “I know a person who has a bakery! They give me free sweets all the time like cinnamon rolls and stuff--!!”
“Said who? You? You’re not in charge.”
Rat continued to apply enough force to keep him still, but leaned his head forward and pressed his cheek against the android’s neck. “I think you’re my pet. After all, you are the one all wrapped up.”
“I am not a pet!”
Feeling completely restrained, Psyche huffed out, giving up trying to fight anymore as he let the blade just drop out of his hand onto the ground beside them.
A blush was obviously visible on the androids cheeks, even if Psyche looked completely disgruntled, “I’ll wrap you up with pretty rope once you let me go!”
Rat curled his arm around the android’s arm and pressed his hand against Psyche’s shoulder blade, holding him closer. “Oh, I think I have my gift already.”
Rat moved his other arm under Psyche’s arm, around the front of his chest and then curving to intertwine his fingers together. “I’ve got you got now, and there is absolutely no getting away. And look, you are all wrapped up for me now.”
Psyche’s eyes widened, “E-eh?” That was a strange thing to hear especially for the young android. Someone actually wanted Psyche?
No, another lie, Of course. Everyone wanted to run from Psyche, he wasn’t a gift to anyone, right? As his mind crept back into reality he started to giggle and wiggle about, “That’s not funny! You’re my pet remember?~!”

“Christmas? Oh is it December already?” Rat said. “Just kidding. Did you like your present?”
Rat was, of course, referring to the homemade grenade launcher he had given the man around 1am earlier today. Noticing the knife, he grabbed Psyche’s wrist with one hand, and wrapped his arm around the man’s shoulder with the other.
Now that he was hugging Psyche from behind, he fell backwards onto the ground. “Where’s my gift? I hope it explodes.”
Little did his friend know, Izaya had long taken that ‘present’ from Psyche, it being a danger to himself and those in the apartment building.
Psyche squeaked as they both fell back, trying desperately to get his blade wielding hand out of the other man’s grip, he grinned happily. “I can’t give you your present unless you let me gooo!”
Legs started kicking, trying to pull himself up.

His system repeated into his ears, making the poor android cling closer to the informant. “It’s not nice to lie Izzi-ni...” The boy sighed into the hug, it was a sad day when he had to break his toys to get them to stay.
The boy giggled as Izaya kept begging into Psyche’s ear to let him go, but the voice coming from his headphones was louder.
He’ll leave you.
Sighing out in exasperation, he pulled back, gripping Izaya’s bad arm and pulling on it. “Come on Izzi-ni.” The pink clad boy smiled as he threw the closet door back open. “I have a fun game for you~!”
Rat turned sharply to the left, and paused. “Home? Fancy. Home is for fancy rich folk. I’ve got a lair. That’s much more cozy.”
Pushing a board to the left, he revealed a hole in a brick wall. “Come in, come in. This is where I stashed some stuff. This isn’t my lair, but it’s got a treat.”
Digging through a pile of trash that was secretly hiding a lock box, he opened the box and pulled out a metal tube attached to a rusty box with a trigger. “This here is my third favorite grenade launcher! I’ll show you how it works, if you show me where a pier is. I get lost as soon as I leave the alleyways.”
Psyche cautiously walked through the hole in the wall, staring around in a bit of amazement. This guy just..lived here? What a strange man at least he had cool toys. Psyche stared at the grenade launcher, he never had seen one in his entire life. “The...pier?” Psyche tilted his head, confused, “What’s that?” psyche has never left the city so...
“If you need an open space though, there’s a giant park in the middle of the city.~!”
Psyche would know all about people stealing, he knew how angry it made him and it definitely made him angry that someone was doing that to his new friend.
“I wanna set off the bomb!” Psyche squealed excitedly. He took the smiley face bomb from Rat’s hand and jumped off his back, giggling as he tossed it from hand to hand like a playful ball.
His eyes glimmered towards Rat, “It’s going to be pretty~!” Clueless enough, psyche tossed the smoke bomb into the building and immediately went running into the doors without waiting for a beat. He was so excited to start the party, his blade was already out and everything else was a distant memory.
After the loud pop, the warehouse filled with smoke. Some yelling, and then a gun discharging was the prelude of the opera of death soon to come. Rat careened into the first biker he saw and cracked open the man’s head with his mace.
“That’s one for me! Try to keep up!” Rat shouted.
“Two!” He shouted as his mace found another man’s face.
Psyche was already sprinting around, his knife gliding on the back of men’s knees and making them all hit the ground screaming. Psyche wasn’t much of a ‘killer’, but the sound of tormented screaming and the slicing sound coming from his blade was pure ecstasy for him.
“Slow poke~!” The pink clad boy chimed out as he sliced down the 5th man that approached him with a gun. Kicking the gun out of the bikers hand he lifted it and pointed it aimlessly into the smoke filled room.
“one two, Psyche is coming for you.~” He cooed as he shot the gun into the warehouse. “Three four, you’ll all die on this floor.~”
Needless to say, the little android was getting slightly worked up.
“F-four?” Rat said, smacking his third man dead.
“He’s gonna win.” The voice mocked.
“Like hell!” Rat snapped. Pulling out a bomb, he lit it and smacked it with his mace into a cluster of people. “Five six, the big bomb ticks. Seven eight, no time to wait.”
A few more bombs were knocked out, and a few more people died. Rat could tell, however, that he was still not catching up.
Psyche didn’t know if he was winning anymore, he was just having a good time, this new game was better than he could of ever expected.
“Nine, ten, You’ll never see daylight again~!”
The smoke was beginning to slowly clear from the room, out the windows, and vision was almost visible again. Psyche was riled up beyond anything he had ever felt. With this adrenaline, he ran up behind Rat without warning, and put the gun to Rat’s back.
“I win~!” He giggled, keeping the gun firmly on Rat’s back. “Where’s my prize?~”
Rat stopped dead. He looked at the wonderland of corpses and fire. His bombs had done their fair share, but there were clearly more people cut up and shot than blown up and cracked open. “I… lost?!”
Rat turned around and looked Psyche in the eyes, snarling. “You won?! I guess you think you’re gonna get a big prize now huh?!”
Rat glared at Psyche for a moment, and then laughed. “How about three? One now and two later.”
Rat rummaged in his jacket again, and pulled out a big red bomb with a skull on it. The skull had a bow-tie and a monocle, so you could tell this was a classy bomb.
Setting the bomb down, he pulled out a detonator. “Let’s get clear, and then you get to press this button, and set off Mr. Clean-Up. Leave the gun.”
Rat started jogging out of the warehouse, giggling like a boy on his way to the candy store. Once they were about about 100ft away, he tossed the detonator to Psyche. “This is my favorite part.”
Dropping the gun to the floor, he ran after his friend, giggling just as much. Sliding to a stop he happily yanked the detonator out of Rat’s hand. “I’ve never used a bomb before.” He squeaked. Though, what could it hurt.
Slamming his hand down on the button, he watched as the entire building seemed to collapsed down on itself as fire whipped out the dismantled windows at the top.
Giggling sadistically, he turned to Rat and spoke loudly enough over the explosion.
“What’s the other two, cutie~?!”
It was official, Rat was his new best pet, even if Rat was an extremely bad influence on the delicate child.
Rat put a finger to Psyche’s lips. “Shh, shh, shh. Look at the boom.”
After a moment, Rat turned to Psyche and hugged him with a laugh. “Ah! My new best friend. Look at all the fire and death!”
Rat pushed Psyche arm’s length away and then gave the man a quick kiss on the forehead. “You’re the best Japanese person I know so far! And that’s the second prize. We’ve got to go before the police show up. They don’t appreciate true beauty. Third prize is at home.”
Grabbing the his new friend’s wrist, Rat ran off into the nearest alley, and off into the night.
Psyche’s face turned a sudden red, he hadn’t been shown any type of kindness ever since Tsugaru, that being said he wasn’t too sure what kindness even was anymore, but he was sure that had to be something.
Being nearly dragged through the alleyways, Psyche huffed out a bit as the sounds of the sirens slowly began to die down.
“Wh-where are we going?” The boy huffed to catch his breathe, it was almost like Rat was just trying to tire him out and Psyche was trying really hard not to whine about boredom.
