It's utterly magnetic when a character's rage is quiet and precise. When they don't scream and throw things but they just b r e a t h e and very very calmly aim their fury like an arrow shooting inexorably towards the target of their wrath. It captures my attention, I lean in close, I wait for the hit. It never disappoints.

I visited all the nearby business and no one took my bag in, someone stole it in the 5 minutes I ran up the hill. it's gone with all my rent money.

So I just lost over 2000$ cash rent money but all my cards are deactivated. I can't order new prints for the beginning of next month, so I'll be out even more money.

We rly need to bring back the term “acquaintance” like into regular and frequent use. So many high drama community squabbles and feelings of betrayal could be avoided if people just admitted there’s a step between “stranger” and a full on friend whose friendship you have a commitment to continuing and fostering. Like sometimes you’re just aquatinted with someone and you might decide you don’t like them after getting to know them a bit better…that’s very normal
