Separation doesn't mean Isolation

There comes a time in our life's, where God has to take us away from our familiar surroundings. This can sometimes be challenging for us or need I say it 'Uncomfortable'. Maybe it's not that your 'uncomfortable', maybe you was just too comfortable in the discomfort, and you felt like that was your 'Comfort zone' In this walk with God, being in our 'Comfort zone' (I call it comfortable discomfort) He has to separate us. 2Corinthians 6:17 "Wherefore come out from among them and be ye separate" For you to get where God is calling you to be, you will have to at a point, separate yourself, you will have to get uncomfortable in the discomfort and step outside your comfort zone. This doesn't just mean to separate yourself from your unsaved friends, but it may be your saved friends even your family. God said to Abraham "For yourself [for your own advantage] away from your country, from your relatives and your father’s house, to the land that I will show you (Genesis 12:1 AMP)" But don't get it twisted when God separates you it doesn't mean to isolate yourself, your not Beyoncè 'Me Myself and I' NO! - The devil has ways of allowing us to think that the separation is to remove ourself from the world and not speak to no one, to hide away and cut off everything. When God separates you there will always be a mature Christian that He will place in your life to walk with you, counsel you etc.. During your separation. Remember two is better than one But here's the bit I love about God. He will bring back to where he separated you from, only for you to bare witness You could say you it's like taking time out for God to change you, for you to mature in Christ. But once your family and friends see why you was separated, they'll probably ask God if they too can be separated LOL !!
