Do not let darkness taste you." — Leaving behind a poor village, a starving family, and the memory of a dead sister, you travel to the castle of a reclusive Noble in Transylvania to cook and clean in exchange for some heavy pouches full of coins. But once the Noble's interest settles on you it feels less like strange admiration, and more like twisted possession. And they won't let anything or anyone take you away. Not even when you find the pit of corpses in their garden.
set in 15th century Romania, it is a short vampire-themed horror interactive fiction story, with possible erotic elements. it has 1 possible RO, rated 18+.

hi!! i am ALIVE 🎉🎉 read till the end for a vague announcement tease lol but TLDR i've had a rough year + projects are not being abandoned! quite the opposite actually! :D
i appreciate all the asks about my silence on here, i didn't expect anyone to notice to be honest so this is a nice surprise ^^
i don't think anyone wants to hear all my sob stories in detail haha, but unfortunately i haven't had a great year so far. i fell down the stairs and had a pretty bad back injury at the beginning of the year, my family is crazy, and there have been money, health, and personal issues in my life and in the life of people that are dear & close to me. have i mentioned uni exams? bleh
so in short, i haven't been able to work on my IFs much or update you guys on what's going on, and i do regret it a lot!! not only am i an IF writer but also a reader, so i understand the frustration that comes with hearing only crickets on a blog you follow. i also haven't even been able to read and write in general in a long time which sucks because these are two of my biggest passions. one thing i will say is that i do want to work on my writing more before any future story updates, i'm not content with the level it's at right now at all. so i'm hoping to get going with that once my exams finally finish this week.
now, for that announcement i mentioned in the beginning of the post, it's nothing concrete for now, BUT it's something i'm super excited about. don't worry, it's not a new IF or anything haha, i wouldn't start a new one before finishing at least one of my projects (again lol). i just have big plans for these stories, like BIIIIIG plans. and i mean for all my stories, like misery loves company, time fall, and does anyone remember anything about circus: eyes of god? or an IF @childrenofcain-if and i were working on called hunting season: to the bone (that was later on deleted)? yeah, i don't want to use big words or make big promises, but i really am trying to work on something really cool for these stories, starting with misery loves company. PLEASE keep an eye out on this blog for the next few weeks/months, because while axel will be helping me with this, i'll also be looking for some extra hands as well (like artists for example👀👀).
and even if this won't work out (though i really hope it will because it's such a cool idea and i'm definitely buzzing about it) i wouldn't abandon these stories. i love MLC and time fall and i want to see them through and share them with people so much, no matter what. thank you for sticking around, these IFs will be continued and updated one way or another!!! <33

hi!! yes, you can customise MC's appearance in the next update. sorry for the confusion and the poor word choice, it's more of a place holder expression that i'll edit out ^^

Desperate to escape hunger, poverty, and the memory of your older sister that has passed away, you venture far from your village and family in order to work in an isolated castle in Transylvania, home to a reclusive Noble. The pay is good, the meals are warm. Though they cool untouched more often than not, and the nights echo with footsteps on the grand staircase you are forbidden to climb.
But you find the pit of corpses in the rose garden. You smell their rotting bodies and see them beckoning you closer. You stare at the marks on their necks and wrists. And you know the same fate might follow you, if you don't leave this place as quickly as you came.

Pale as moonlight, with hair and eyes as dark as midnight, V is distant, a creature of shadows. Though they rarely appear when the sun is high, their attention upon you is unwavering. After the bloody aftermath of Draeken's rebellion against Delphora, you're left an orphan. Your mother lies dead beneath a pile of bodies, crushed under the boots of the Time Watchers, and your older brother, Mylo, is nowhere to be found. Bruised and scared, you're taken in by Marek, your mother's friend, together with a few other strays he managed to catch hiding in the shadows of the night.
As Marek tends to your wounds and wipes away your tears, the Council of the Eternals, forever holed up in their lavish upper city, is falling apart. They are in complete mayhem and disarray as, unbeknownst to you, one of the five time shards that keep the heart of the city, the Clocktower, working in tune with time's balance has been stolen.
Oddly enough, that lost shard looks suspiciously similar to the strange shiny stone your mother gave you and your brother right before the doomed uprising. With it gone, the flow of time grows slippery and erratic, as the Clocktower starts to decay without its missing piece.
Life in the undercity of Draeken, also known as The Depths, is brutal enough. But when an ill-fated encounter leaves you forever altered, with your blood itself changed, you’ll soon realize that time is strange, and the thin fabric of reality a fickle thing. Even more so when it’s something you can no longer just witness ... but may be forced to control.

i need to get better at outlining and planning ahead though. i've learned that while i like having creative freedom, i also need some guidelines to point me towards the beginning, middle, and end of a chapter heh :3 so it's something i'll do more of while prepping chapter 2!

my outline for Time Fall is pretty general right now, with a clear beginning, middle, and end in mind! but that's not really enough for me, and i'm hoping to start outlining the plot chapter by chapter soon ^^

Hello! I was just wondering if Circus: Eyes of God is still being worked on since it’s not in the masterpost with the other IFs?
oh gosh, i didn't think anyone seriously remembered that :O Circus: Eyes of God is an IF i have on my itch page that has only the prologue released, and i posted it last year around halloween time. but i deleted the blog i made on tumblr for it, so i didn't think anyone kept track of that 😭
to answer your question, no, it's not being worked on right now or any time soon. i still really like the concept i had in mind for it, but i rushed into it way too much and didn't plan ahead at all. i barely know anything about the characters or the branches i want the story to have.
if i start working on it again (after MLC and Time Fall), i'll have to revamp it a lot heh,, but thanks so much for your interest in the story!!
