Shut up, Bruno in Orange is such a Rapunzel song.
ive uh. been thinking about them lately
just saw an edit and realised how much of a chokehold the amazing spider man has on me, like it's one of the best spider man movies out there, and I say one of the best, because I can't choose between the 1st and 2nd one, all Tom Holland Tobey Maguire version comes after this masterpiece. I would die on this hill, you can come fight me
Andrew and Emma have created something that's so much more than just a superhero movie, it's real, it's everything that the other variations of Spiderman cannot be, like the way Andrew is more Peter Parker than Spiderman at all times, and how Gwen sees him as both, loves Peter, hates the costume because she knows what it means, has seen in with her father, and like looks beyond that and still dates him, and dies along the way, is one of the reason why I hate that I love them so much. They're real, there's no grief because it helps the plot, there's grief because that's all what Peter Parker's life has been about, as much as I like the Tony-Peter crossover, I know the need for it was arisen purely due to the cinematic expansion of the MCU. Sometimes I despise Tom (however, good he is) because he isn't Andrew. How May isn't May, and there's no Gwen, and he Zendaya as MJ is nice but she's not Gwen, idk why but I hate how the recent film is more American, predictable and everything that's not Andrew and Emma, because I need them on the screen.
everytime I see a screenshot or scene of Peter and gwen from the amazing spider-man , I'm close to crashing out 🥀
Noticing a lack of people who ship Gweter (and I don't mean E-616 Peter with E-65 Gwen, but I am looking forward to the Spider-Man and Spider-Gwen interactions in YFNSM)… Nowadays, people are rambling on about PeterMJ, GweMJ/GwenMJ and Gwiles/GhostFlower.
WHERE MY GWETER FANS AT ?!
i'm sure we're taller in another dimension.. 😞
Thieves steal a car. Learn it’s in relation to a kidnapped child that they find in the trunk. Spend the movie trying to return the child and not get caught for car theft and fighting off the actual kidnapper.
AO3 taking 17 years to get beta-read and finally post an update is the most fanfic thing ever.
I feel like some may not like this but I think it isn’t talked about enough that Narcissa and Regulus never really went agaisnt the pure-blood ideology, just Voldemort himself.
Regulus rebelled against Voldemort, mainly as Voldemort was planning on harming someone Regulus loved (Kreatcher). Also most likely as Regulus was beginning to see his brutality. Narcissa went against Voldemort to save her son, once again not necessarily going against pure-blood ideology itself.
Because Voldemort isn’t the epitome of pure blood supremacy. That existed before him, and unfortunately it still existed after him. All the pure-blood ideology supporters also didn’t support Voldemort. None of the Black family members took the mark besides Bellatrix and Regulus. Many saw him as too brutal, and he was also a half-blood. I love reading fics where many ancient pure-bloods are actually against him, and don’t think Voldy is the right person to represent them.
Voldemort’s views are also very extreme, and cult-like. He really doesn’t represent what regular pure-bloods think, which obviously doesn’t make pure-bloods views any better since bigotry is bigotry. All I’m saying is that Voldemort doesn’t fully equal pure-blood supremacy.
We don’t know much about Regulus, other than he admired Voldemort, he was proud to join the death eaters. He only didn’t know what he was joining, because that’s how cults work. And I feel like that part of his characterisation is often forgotten which is funny since it’s the only thing we canonically know about him (although I have to admit I’ve never read a Regulus-centric fic). Narcissa cared about her family and nothing else. She had a son and a husband, was pulled into that madness, all she wanted was to get them out safely.
And I love Narcissa she’s my girl, yet she is also a morally grey character.
what if i said lily evans and james potter were the gryffindor version of lucius and narcissa, what then??? what then???
Okay but actually where does the headcanon come from that Rabastan is the younger brother???
I don't think it was ever stated anywhere. We all just assume so. Like we canonically know almost nothing about Rabastan, but in my mind he's always had little brother energy. How does that make any sense, I don't know.
I didn't realise it wasn't canon that he's younger until I read a fic where Rabastan and Rodolphus were twins, and I had to check.

Fanfiction is supposed to be cringy. You're allowed to write bad. You're allowed to be cringe. Fanfiction is supposed to be self indulgent. You're allowed to be cringe. Let yourself be cringe. Fanfiction is supposed to be fun. Stop putting arbitrary rules on yourself and be free.
