image credit - more info there was once a man so miserly, he lived completely alone, refusing to take a wife so he wouldn’t be forced to share his food stores. when he came upon a woman who miraculously never ate, he immediately wed her. however, his food stores began to rapidly shrink, and he knew it had to be because of her. he watched her carefully whenever she was near by, yet she never took a single bite. still, his food stores shrank, and he was sure she was the cause. finally, he decided to catch her in the act. he told her he would be leaving for the day, and after bidding goodbye, sneaked back into their home and followed her. his anger faded into horror as he watched the back of his wife’s skull split apart, revealing a second mouth which, using her long hair as tendrils, proceeded to devour all the food he had so jealously guarded.

futakuchi-onna are one of my fave types of monsters :,D so i tried my hand at making a hat inspired by it! works best with the longer hair styles

for now, i just made one to match black hair, but if there’s enough interest, i may make some with other hair colors!
