People who open bottles with their teeth are the sexiest people on earth, especially when someone reminds them of the consequences and they tell aforementioned person to shut up <3
- I would say it’s a decently easy routine but it has become habit for me so don’t take my word for it.
Pre-shower:
- Brush teeth: Any toothpaste works, honestly. I personally use the marvis whitening one when I have been to tk maxx, if not just the Colgate 3 toothpaste works.
- Mouthwash: I usually go like 60-70 seconds regardless of the instruction, and usually I either use purple listerine one or the Thera Breath blue one, but any would work fine. I don’t really floss because it’s never been a thing that I’ve done tbh. If I NEED to start flossing, I will, but I have decently strong/heavy duty(?) teeth (but also very tightly packed teeth).
In the shower:
- Body:
- Body scrub: I like dove body scrubs, but I definitely don’t use them often. Maybe once a week or less, I just couldn’t be bothered most of the time. I usually only do arms and legs, too, I’m not sure if that’s what you should do but it’s what I do. Personally, right now I’m using the coconut shea butter one most.
- Soap: Dove again, their vanilla soap is really good and it can be bought in bulk, which is pretty handy. I use soap every time I shower.
- Body wash: idk if this is called something different household to household but I basically mean liquid soap. I use a luffa to apply it and it’s usually something from TK Maxx, the Lux gold one, or milk and honey Palmolive soap.
- Hair:
- Shampoo: I swear by either the CP1 ginger shampoo or the Pantene biotin shampoo but mind you I have 1B-1C hair and unfortunately I cannot help you curly girls. I love you, but never take my advice. I also typically shampoo twice.
- Conditioner: I tend to use more conditioner than shampoo despite shampooing twice because I have long hair, and I often use the Pantene biotin conditioner or CP1 ginger shampoo. Once again, I have straight hair. Do not replicate the what I do if you have curly hair.
- Face:
- Cleanser: I’m really acne prone to the point I’m on medication for it, so I use the CeraVe hydrating cleanser with the leaf green bottle. One thing you should never use, though, is St. Ives peach scrub, I feel like that or just face scrubs in general are pretty bad for your skin.
Post-shower:
- Face:
- Moisturiser: I usually use the QV ceramides moisture cream. It’s a pretty good all rounder. Either that or CeraVe moisturiser in a pot, I think it’s called just moisturising cream.
- Sunscreen (if it’s daytime): I like to use the cancer council one in the blue bottle with the pump at the top or la Roche Posay. Right now I’m using cancer council SPF 50 moisturiser in the bottle though because I couldn’t be bothered to go hunting for the other ones.
- Lip care: I will typically just reapply plain vaseline and Nivea SPF 15 throughout the day or some of the essential health pawpaw + macadamia lippie. Oh, I also liked this glazed donut lippie by Lanolips but I lost it. I want to branch out with my lip care but in the same vein who gaf. At night I use Amolin as a lip mask, it’s also pretty good for dry and cracked skin after sunburns.
- Body:
- Body oil: I like to either use scented ones from TK Maxx, Palmers shea oil or coconut oil from the cooking aisle. It’s pretty nice either way just be careful with the scented stuff cause sometimes it’s gonna smell like asscheeks.
- Moisturiser: Vaseline coco glow is pretty good, or just the face moisturisers I listed earlier. Or random tK Maxx ones if u like the smell. I also use this Hawaiian tropic silk hydration body lotion/sunscreen, and sometimes Vaseline gluta hya if I wanna smell floral.
- Body Butter: I usually use it just to smell good, any work fine just match it to your perfume. I use one by ciroa which is peak and smells great.
- Hair:
- Hair oil/serum: I use Pantene biotin hair oil, or sometimes hair serum I pick up at random. Right now I have one by Bondi boost that I mixed Pantene conditioner into. It works well. Not every night though.
- Scent:
- Body mist: sometimes I use it, sometimes I don’t, depends on if I feel like layering and how I feel like layering. Usually I don’t layer perfumes with anything though unless it matches really well.
- Perfume: For cheaper perfumes I would say Britney spears perfumes, Chemist Warehouse sales, Anna Sui ones or Ed Hardy. Also Arab perfumes by lataffa go hard, so does Paris corner, and they’re cheap but hard to come by. I also love aerre and Whif for dupes of designers. Keep those in mind. I have a lot though, and it’s hard to recommend one perfume that’s an all rounder.
- Deodorant: Dove roll-ons work well, I like powder soft. I also like their sprays as well as pearl and beauty by nivea.
Once again, I’d say it’s easy to follow, but I don’t follow it extremely consistently either. Bare minimum on bad days and on good days I do it all. I also really like smelling good so it focuses way more on that department than hair and teeth because I was blessed pretty well for those. It’s not a guide so much as an outline if you have no clue whatsoever about what you’re doing.
