does anyone else who self ships do this or is it just me

I have absolutely no idea what ships exist in my self ship universe besides Fay and Enzo 😭😭😭 Like... obviously Fay is with Enzo. That's the whole point. But everyone else? I genuinely don't know. Part of me is like, it doesn't matter. The story is about Fay and Enzo, not everyone else's love life.

But then I start thinking... what if I want to write a double date? Or a road trip? Or just have Fay fully embedded into the friend group, and dating conversations come up? Then I'm sitting there like... wait, who is Bonnie dating??? 😭 She's Fay's best friend, so eventually that's probably going to come up, right?

The only exception is my mutuals who self ship with TVDU characters. If you're one of my mutuals and you self ship with someone from the universe, your F/O is 100% canon in my head. Those characters are TAKEN.

Everyone else, though? I have absolutely no clue. And the funny thing is... I don't even care enough about any other ship in the show to figure it out. My self ship universe is about Fay and Enzo. Everyone else's relationships are just... a giant question mark until proven otherwise LOL.

I have been thinking about fay and vampirism alot lately and I think that fay would never want to be a vampire, she has definitely entertained idea at some point but it always goes back to it being a choice she doesn't want to make. Fay enjoys living and she always imagines that growing old with someone and being human is something that she can imagine changing and idk I don't think it to oc for Enzo to want to take the cure with her, bc that's genuinely what she wants a life to live

TVDU Historical Eras 𖤓 1950 - 1959 AD

Notable Events: Lorenzo St. John remains imprisoned by Augustine, where he is tortured and experimented on. During his captivity, Maggie James is assigned to study his psychological and behavioral patterns, and the two eventually fall in love. Maggie offers to let Enzo turn her so she can free him and remain with him forever, but Enzo refuses to condemn her to vampirism, compels her to forget him and the existence of vampires, and sends her away. Joseph Salvatore lures Damon and Stefan back to the Salvatore Boarding House after making a deal with Dr. Whitmore to hand them over to Augustine. Damon kills Joseph after being dosed with vervain, but Dr. Whitmore captures him and takes him to Whitmore College, while Stefan arrives later and assumes Damon murdered Joseph and leaves. Franklin Fell reports on Joseph’s death, accidentally capturing Stefan on camera, and Stefan is also seen by a child who will remember him decades later. In New Orleans, a series of violent rituals takes place across the city over two months in 1953. Damon and Enzo become close during their shared captivity, and after the 1957 Augustine New Year’s Eve party, they plan an escape built on Enzo surrendering most of his blood rations so Damon can regain enough strength to fight. On January 1, 1958, Damon escapes during the next New Year’s gathering, killing the Augustine attendees and accidentally setting the building on fire. Unable to free Enzo from his vervain-coated cage, Damon turns off his humanity to survive leaving him behind. Damon believes Enzo died in the fire, though Enzo is secretly rescued by Augustine and remains imprisoned for decades.
