Yeah I think it's a little too quiet. And not the good kind, anyway. I'm half expecting someone to turn up dead.

Playing Dangerous → Clair/Faye

Clair was bored. Judging people on the dance floor was only so fun when you were by yourself. She missed having Mel to snark too or even just being a bitch and Sam trying to get her to be a bit nicer about her friends. But both of them seemed to have disappeared into the ether and here she was alone. She sighed before taking a small sip of the remains of her coke. It was mostly watered down by now but she needed something to do rather than look like a pathetic loser with no friends. 

She had friends, she did, but she didn’t have many close friends. She wasn’t like Quinn and Caroline or Bonnie and Elena, sometimes she had Mel but Mel had another best friend, Faye. As far as Clair could tell, the two girls had been inseparable before Mel had helped get revenge on Kara and Clair had claimed her for the role of new best friend. If she was going to be stuck here for a little while, she mind as well try to at least make an attempt at getting along with more people. 

Spotting her best friend’s other best friend, she headed over towards her. “Hi,” she said, sticking out her hand for Faye to shake, “I’m bored and you’re usually trouble. Let’s hang out.”

Faye was torn about being back in Mystic Falls. She was already bored with seeing the same people all over again, but at the same time, she returned and never went all that far from the town over the past year for a reason. Slightly different reasons, but she doesn't feel quite done with Mystic Falls, doesn't know if she will be anytime soon. And besides, she can't complain about being back in the same town as the rest of her circle. Well she can actually, they don't need to know how many times she had actually missed their presence over the past year, but she could sense their energy again now.

That's why she finds herself at Jeremy Gilbert's graduation party right now. She's never been all that close to either of the Gilbert's, but it's something to do, and she has some reconnecting of her own to do anyway. She's been looking for Melissa since she arrived, and has sent her two texts demanding her location, but after not hearing anything back from her best friend yet she decided to settle off to the side of the dance floor with a drink in her hand. She was not in the mood to find someone to dance with yet, and it was better than pathetically hanging around the bar.

She turned her head just in time to spot someone coming toward her. “Clair.” Faye said the girl's name as she looked down to the hand she held out. Her eyes went back up to her face as she took her hand, giving it one shake. “No one's managed to do anything worth noting yet.” She glanced around the party once. “Let’s do it.” A slow smirk formed on her face.
