You’re taking this too personally. I didn’t make a jab about you or your family in that instance, Clair—I was trying to say that I’d support her whatever happens. Every family is different. I wasn’t mocking yours.

That’s too bad. You’d have to find me first. And, actually, I don’t even know why we’re arguing this point in the first place. If I went too dark and hurt a bunch of people, I’d stake myself long before you and your presumptuous group of hunters could reach me. I don’t want a self righteous bigot killing me to end my wrongs.

I do want to be friends with you. You may not consider me a friend, but I’m yours forever whether you like it or not. I’ll just be patiently waiting for you to come to your senses about this weird jealousy (which, by the way, is ridiculous if you factor in that you’re dating Sam and everything should be just fine now). ‘Til then, I’m keeping my distance.
