Prosperity/Abundance herbs
Alfalfa - Put in a small jar in a pantry/cupboard to ward off poverty and hunger. Alternatively it can be used as a floor wash or burned as an incense. Almond - Carry, wear or use as incense to attract abundance. Banana - Cook the fruit in a recipe, such as banana bread, for a positive kick of abundance and prosperity. Basil - Keep a basil leaf in your purse/wallet to attract money, can also be used in prosperity floor washes. Benzoin - Smoulder for prosperity, though do so with small amounts as benzoin can be a respiratory irritant. Use in a spell sachet, or a drop or two of benzoin oil to make a prosperity floor wash. Bergamot - Carry in a sachet to draw prosperity and luck. Chamomile - Burn or add to prosperity bags to increase money. Cinnamon - Use in sachets, add to money bowls or spell candles to draw money and prosperity. Citronella - Add a few drops of oil to a floor wash, create a cleansing spray using a few oil drops in the water, burn as an incense during a money-drawing spell. Coltsfoot - Scatter dried leaves around the perimeter of your home, use in sachets, burn as part of an incense blend to draw wealth. Ginger - Sprinkle a small amount in your wallet/purse, add fresh or dried ginger root to prosperity bowls for extra potency. Heliotrope - Add dried heliotrope to sachets, spell jars, burn as an incense or anoint spell tools using diluted heliotrope oils for increased abundance and prosperity. Juniper - Use in sachets or carry dried juniper berries for prosperity. Lily - Add dried or fresh lily to an altar space, add dried petals or bulbs to charm bags, spell jars, or abundance bowls with other prosperity-associated items to increase potency. Mint - Put a few fresh or dried mint leaves in your purse/wallet, add to spell jars or sachets, create a herbal floor wash or incorporate it into meals to attract prosperity. Nutmeg - Can be carried in your pocket or wallet as a personal talisman to attract general luck and money (accentuated by being wrapped in a green cloth), sprinkle powdered nutmeg onto a green candle, use powdered nutmeg to create a prosperity powder, or use a sprinkle of it in your meal for prosperity. Onion - Burning red onion peels and rubbing the ash on your wallet/purse, or using onions in your meals with intention also draws prosperity. Parsley - Sprinkle chopped parsley over your food with the intention of calling in abundance, hang parsley in the home to draw prosperity and luck, or carry dried parsley in a sachet or charm bag to attract money and success. Peony - Carry dried peony leaves in a sachet to attract good fortune and enhance business prospects, or add dried petals to a wealth bowl. Pine - Place pine cones and boughs on your altar space or around your home to invite positive energy and enduring money flow, use either pine cones or needles to make sachets, spells jars, money bowls for prosperity, or add a few drops of pine oil to a floor wash to remove energy that may be blocking the flow of abundance. Poppy - Sew poppy seeds (or a whole poppy seedpod) and a coin into a green or red cloth pouch on a waxing moon, which is a time associated with growth. Carry this amulet in your pocket or place it on your altar to attract financial success and abundance. Sassafras - Place a dried sassafras leaf or a small piece of the root in your wallet or purse to help "hold" onto money and encourage saving rather than spending. Add to a money bowl, spell jar or sachet for prosperity. Vertivert - Use in sachets, money bowls, spell jars, or anoint a candle with vertivert oil to draw in prosperity. Vervain - Use in sachets, money bowls, spell jars, or burn as an incense to enhance your prosperity. Wisteria - Place fresh or dried wisteria flowers on your altar or in your home, or use in sachets to attract good fortune and abundance. Wood aloe - Place a live aloe plant in the kitchen or the bathroom to invite economic fortune and abundance.
Please be wary that some of these herbs may be toxic to animals or humans if ingested, take adequate precautions if you have children or animals in your household. Also, this is not the only way to utilize these herbs, just the way I would use them in my own practice.
