“It’s a pretty easy concept,” He spoke to the person who seemed confused in his shop. “We have custom suits, but you can also buy off the rack if you like.” Magnus continued. “Was there something in particular you were looking for?” 

“I want a dress suit.” she spoke sternly raising an eyebrow at the male. “I want to be able to wear a nice suit for my friends wedding, i’m thinking a nice bright colour, rather than the drab old black and white.”

“And be out a lot of money,” Laura shook her head. “No way, not when a wink can do the trick with the right person.” She shrugged when the other described her ideal type of man. “Maybe I am, it makes things easier for me. Those kinds of men never think I could do anything wrong, not with a pretty face like mine. Having them grovel at my feet is the kind of loyalty I enjoy.”

Faye chuckled at the others honestly. She had to admit the girl had a plan and she couldn’t deny it was genius. “I’ve never been so lucky to have someone grovel at my feet.” she admitted a light shrug of her shoulders. “Maybe if i sit on this stool for another 15 years a male might take interest in this zoo keeper.” she swirled the liquid in her glass around for a moment a sad smile playing on her lips. “It doesn’t bother me too much though, i have my animals.”

“Wait…we were suppose to bring swimsuits?” Audrey’s eyes narrowed, before an unladylike snort. “Yeah like that was gonna happen. I’m here for good food and a bit of sun, nothin’ else.” It wasn’t often that she gave herself days off from the mechanic shop. 

“It is summer?” she raised an eyebrow at the other a small smile playing on her lips. “I mean who doesn’t love swimming, all that danger maybe an accidental drowning.” she rolled her eyes as she pondered the thought for a moment. “I mean i doubt anyone would drown with the amount of life guards this town has.” she nodded her head as she listened to the other speak for a moment. “Just make sure to apply sunscreen if you’re going to toast in the sun.”

Faye raised an eyebrow at the other as she listened to the other secret. “Isn’t that against the rules?” she chuckled softly as she ran a hand through her hair. “What would happens if you get caught?” she tilted her head to the side as she thought about the implications. “I don’t think you should go around telling people that.”

Work felt like it wasn’t getting any easier, but it didn’t discourage the girl. she was already used to hard-work when it came to her step-family. it was just the fact that she worked and also did errands for them that made it harder each day. nonetheless, the girl was still confident that this wasn’t going to last forever. letting out a heavy sigh, she scratched the back of her head before turning to the other person. “How has your day been so far? anything exciting lately going on around town?”

Faye offered the other girl a small smile as she bowed her head. “It’s been alright, long but it’s nearly over.” she chuckled softly. “Not really, a few dogs escaped and it was all over the news paper.” she shook her head as she thought about it all. “How about you? how have you been handling life and all of that.”

Maia loved summer holidays, even though she was a high school teacher, her passion for science didn’t exactly come with a passion for children. There was only ever one child she liked having in her life. Walking by shops in town, she stopped in her tracks as she saw her reflection, gasping. “What?” she breathed as she plucked out a grey hair from her head aggressively. “No no no, it’s too soon!” she groaned until she noticed someone had seen her. “Nothing some dye can’t fix.”

Faye raised an eyebrow at the other as she watched her pull the hair from her scalp. “Old age gets the best of us sometimes” her smile faltered as she saw how upset the other was. “I’m sure you’re hairdresser will be able to sort you out with no issues though! you don’t look a day over 25!” she tried to sound enthusiastic but was afraid the other would see right through her.

“Is this yours?” Fred called out as he picked up the item from the floor, holding up for the other to see. “Wouldn’t want to lose it.”

Fayes eyes trailed down to what the other was holding in his hands. “Yeah it’s my phone.” a small laugh escaped her lips as she reached for the item. “It must of fallen out of the back of my jeans on my walk.” she nodded as she glanced down at her phone before putting in the back of her jeans. “How long ago did i drop it?”

“Oh- what.. sorry, I wasn’t talking to you I was talking to… well- the dog.” Kristoff commented with a small embarrassed smile as he gestured to the dog that was sat beside him.

Faye grinned at the blonde as she knelt down to pat the dog at the others feet. “I was just agreeing that he looks like a good boy.” she chuckled softly as she stood back up, she extended an arm towards the other as she kept her eyes on the dog. “Faye, and who’s this little guy?”

“And pay for it myself? Where’s the fun in that?” Laura smirked and waved the bartender over anyways, ordering herself a dry martini. “Oh, always. Trust me, that level of obvious is necessary for the kinds of guys I’m interested in. What can I say, I like big arms and handsome faces. Typically those guys need the classic lines,” she shrugged and chuckled a bit as she took her drink from the bartender.

“I don’t think it’s meant to be fun but if you drink enough i think you’d reach a happy medium.” a small laugh left her lips. “Your bank account might not be happy in the morning though, depends if your a light drunk i guess.” Faye raised an eyebrow at the other as she described her type. “Sounds like you into men with shallow egos.” she joked lightly as she sipped her drink. “Maybe a better tactic would be befriending the bartender rather than those big strong men.”

“- look, just send them some complimentary muffins and some extra pillows and I’ll deal with the rest when I get back, okay? Bye.” Sally ended the call, but as she was putting her phone back into her pocket her elbow knocked over her coffee cup sending liquid everywhere. “Shit. Fuck. I mean… fudge- I’m sorry.” She apologised to the person standing beside her, “Did I catch you?”

Faye raised her hands in defence as she watched the blonde turn around. “You alright? you look like you could kill someone.” she joked lightly as she chuckled at the others swearing. “It’s alright, were not saints.” she grinned at the blonde. “The f word won’t kill me.” Faye looked down at her white shirt a few drops of coffee present. “Unfortunately, but it’s fine it was due for a wash anyways.”

“So what does a girl have to do to get a drink around here?” Laura smirked and asked the nearest person at the bar. Sometimes she hated that she said such cheesy and obvious things, but she had to go with what she knew, and people finding out she was smart wouldn’t get her some romance, according to what she was taught. 

“Probably call the bartender over.” she joked lightly as she ran her finger around the rim of her wine glass. “I can call them over if you like, though i doubt they wouldn’t see you.” she grinned at the other girl before taking a sip from her drink. “Are you always this cheesy? or is it just today.”
