My ex-husband-now-friend moved across the country months ago. My friends live across the country, too, since I only moved back to my hometown recently after 15+ years away. As a baby lesbian, I don't feel ready to reach out to old friends from my Catholic high school. I've started meeting people via Meetup groups but I don't know anyone well yet. My family is here, which is great, but I'm not going to get them involved in all my interests.
