  Mason shrugged as she pushed the cart and occasionally dropped a few items in the car that would be necessary for the kitten. “I dunno. I was just gonna call him furball,” she laughed.

Kaitlin frowned. "Fine I'll name him Sheeran or Lennon since I can't name him Lana." She said as she found kitten clothes and threw all the boy clothes in there. "My moms are going to freak out about the money but it's okay!"She said. Once she paid for everything they waited for the cat. Once everything was done and they were back at the house Kaitlin got ready for bed. She fed him a little bottle since he couldn't feed himself yet and smiled. "It's like having a kid."

  Mason was surprised that Callie didn’t put up more of a fight, but was happy for Kaitlin and couldn’t help but smile at her excitement. “Okay, okay. But I’m pretty sure the first thing we should do is take him to a vet,” she said as she got into her car and started it up.

Kaitlin looked at her. "Oh yeah I forgot about that!" She said with a frown. They dropped him off at the vet but since they said it would take a few hours Kaitlin pulled her out towards the petstore. "What should we name him?" She asked as she started filling up the cart with random things.

  Mason nodded in agreement and smiled. “I totally will.” She said, and Callie sighed as she looked at the three of them. “Fine. But he’s completely your responsibility, I’m not looking after him.”

"I promise I will do a good job!" She said kissing her cheek and taking it from Arizona. "Come on babe we have to go get him stuff and name him!" She said pulling Mason back out to her car.

  Callie sighed. “Having a pet it a lot of responsibility, Kaitlin.” She said seriously while Arizona kept fawning over the kitten. When Kaitlin mentioned her, she looked at Callie and pouted. “Aw come on, she’s old enough to take this on. And look at him!”

Kaitlin nodded in agreement. "Yeah, plus Mason will help me!' She said as she looked at Mason and back at her mom. "It's one pet and if I don't take care of it we can get rid of it...Plus I'll name him after you!" She promised with a small pout.

  Mason chuckled. “Okay, okay.” She said and kissed Kaitlin’s pout. “Careful,” she said as she watched her hold him, then shook her head. “If they’ve always said no pets, I don’t think they’re gonna change their mind, babe.”

Kaitlin kissed her back a smiled "Well my mom will say yes right away my Mami she's going to be hesitant, I'm going to have to promise that I'll take care of it and all that stuff." After a long nap she finally made Mason drive her to her house and smiled when her parent were home. "Look what I found!" She exclaimed putting the kitten on the counter.

"It will make him cute and warm!" She corrected herself and then looked up at her with a pout. "It's hard not to be!" She whined holding him in the air. "My moms are going to kill me they've always said no pets, and now I'm going to shove this in their face!"

  Mason chuckled. “It was still pretty bad, you really should be more careful.” She told her, and smiled. “You’re ridiculous, babe. But I guess we can buy him some cat clothes if you really want.”

"Shut up!" She said playfully waving her hand in her face and laughing. "He would look cute in them!" She said taking him from Mason and lying back putting him on her stomach as he stood still. She rubbed her thumb on his stomach and smiled.

Mason leaned her head against Kaitlin’s and looked down at the kitten. “Alright, we can keep him here tonight.” She agreed and laughed a little. “And you weren’t concerned about getting struck by lightning coming here?” She shook her head. “Babe, he’s a kitten, not a baby. We do have to get him a bunch of things, but clothes?”

"No it wasn’t this bad when I was walking here!" She defended. "He’s a baby and a kitten. Yes clothes! A cat can never have too many outfits!" She exclaimed running her thumb down his back.

Kaitlin pulled on sweats and a hoodie before sitting next to Mason. “He’s probably wondering what the hell is going on.” She said with a shrug petting him. “I don’t know if my moms will let me keep him though.” She said with a sigh leaning her cheek on her shoulder.

Mason nodded. “Yeah that’s true,” she agreed and took the kitten from Kaitlin, cupping her hands and sitting down on her bed. “He looks so scared,” she said, frowning as as she gently pet his head with her thumbs.
