Are you okay, darling, you've barely touched your frostiron with snark, Odin's A+ Parenting, blood and injury and loads of Loki whump.

Still not over Utena's loss to Touga and her subsequent loss of self. Her becoming more "femenine" and losing her spark, that being celebrated by those around her (except for Wakaba), them being glad that she's seemingly outgrown her "tomboy phase", and the way she's clearly uncomfortable with all of it but still doesn't attempt to come back to herself is all just soooooo so real like I've been there. Then that exhilarting feeling of regaining that sense of self, that gender expression, the feeling of recognising yourself in the mirror, is just so so so so well showcased (metaphorically ofc but this is RGU so it should go without saying) I just ugghhh I love this show. I've genuinely never felt as represented in my gender as I am by utena. Her unique blend of both masculinity and some sort of femininity is just exactly like me it's uncanny.
the fact that hawkeye flirts with authority figures who want to gut him is endlessly entertaining i hate him
YES YES THIS say it louder for the people in the back!!
babys first gay fiction podcast my beloved
I've been meaning to send this for a while but I was just reading I Am Yours And All - Or The Arduous Emancipation of Loki Odinson for the first time (Steve/Loki will never be a favorite of mine, but I love your writing and wanted to see how you played with it) and got to the end notes where you say you use they/them pronouns.
Somehow, despite being a reader of yours for around 2 years now, I didn't know that. I've always loved your Loki fics dearly because the way you write him is so similar to my own mental picture of him, from his love of magic in The Prestige to self destructive tendancies, but my hands-down favorite part was always how you wrote Loki's genderfluidity.
I'm non-binary too, and I LOVE that aspect of Loki's character. It's probably why he's my favorite marvel character, honestly, and the way you write his internal struggle and gender expression once he's healed has always resonated very deeply with me and made me feel so seen. Finding out that the writer has been all this time not strictly cis (I don't wanna assume, since pronouns =/= gender, but I'd guess nonbinary?) makes me so, SO happy.
Your fics are very full of delicious whump, and spicy/sweet romance, and I love all those parts of them too, but I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate the dedication and care you put into representing parts of the human condition accurately, especially when it comes to being nonbinary in a transphobic nonbinaryphobic society.
Thank you for the awesome stories. Sorry this got long.
Hey, so this is incredibly sweet of you? Having a bit of excess moisture in my eyes right now 😳.
Thank you so much for taking the time to tell me all that ❤️❤️❤️❤️.
I'm non-binary genderfluid. It's a (relatively?) recent revelation, in my case definitely because my assigned gender feels authentic a certain percentage of the time. It took me a while to figure it out (I had a pretty hard egg shell and kept ignoring that I reliably fell for genderfluid, non-binary or agender characters).
Ao3 actually helped me break my egg shell because I realised that I disliked being referred to with my assigned pronouns in an environment where no one could automatically tell what my assigned gender is. And that I vastly prefer they as soon as I don't have to disclose my assigned gender.
I definitely didn't know at the start of writing the Prestige which tells you how oblivious I was lol.
It gives me great joy to hear that a fellow enbie cutie can relate to my fluid characters, and I'm so so glad this spoke to you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm sorry but the armor😭
You know who he is.

My brain: you reread and enjoy your own fanfiction? Are we sure that's allowed?
Me: Brain, I am the primary target group of my own fanfiction. I literally write the fanfiction I wanna most read. Everyone else comes second. Originally, I wrote it JUST for me and maybe two other people. Of course I reread it constantly and adore it. What about this don't you understand?
