Running her fingers through Kailee’s hair, Tatum hummed along with the music as Thrououghly Modern Millie danced across the screen. She liked this, laying in bed with their legs intertwined and her favorite musical playing in the background. It had been forever since she’d really been with Kailee and she knew it was mostly her fault. Being gone at auditions and rehearsing late into the night almost daily took a toll on their ‘us time’ and she was scared of how Kailee was taking it. She had always been incredibly supportive but it didn’t take much for Tatum to worry too much about anything. Letting out a sigh she cuddled more into Kailee, kissing her cheek and her neck lightly just because. “I love you,” She said in between kisses.
Kailee didn’t know what they were watching but was paying too much attention to the girl in her arms than whatever was on the tv. Getting to just cuddle like this and talk was a rare thing for the two but Kailee treasured it when they did have the time. She grinned as she felt Tatum’s lips on her skin. “I love you too babygirl.” She said, letting out a happy sigh.
"So, uh, what have you been doing? I know you don't just sit around doing nothing... Have you been okay?" Tatum asked after being quiet for a while. She was still worried about Kailee despite the constant reassurance that she was perfectly fine. But she didn't really know what happened while she was gone all the time and now was the best time to hear about what she'd been up to.
