     Deanna was terrified. There really was no putting that lightly. A mom at the winning age of just twenty two? Well, that wasn’t how she particularly envisioned her life when she was riding in the back seat of her mom’s run down civic. Living the flashy life style with a college degree had came first before a child. Life certainly had other options for her, and now with repeating her mother’s own history, Deanna lay flat in the hospital bed after snoozing off for a couple of hours. Rightfully so, as fourteen hours of labor knocked the wind out of her. She eventually came to, longer lashes fluttering to blink the sleep from her eyes, a light groan passing from her lips to rid herself of the exhaustion. 

Parker’s words were faint and soft, but she managed to catch onto the last part of his statement. She knew he was just as scared, but it was hard to show when he had something so small cradled in his arms that was the perfect mixture of the two of them. “Aren’t you such a knight in shining armor?” Deanna murmured, head turned lazily to look over at the two in the room. “Careful, you might jinx us.”

     Parker looked over his shoulder when he heard a familiar voice and let out a light chuckle, playfully shaking his head. "Yeah, because we wouldn't want that." He teased with a smile. He put his attention back at Jasmine and watched her sleep in his arms which caused the corners of his lip to grow more wider. This is one of the many moments he won't ever forget. He then carefully moved himself off from where he sat and stood onto his two feet, making his way toward Deanna that way she could get a better view of just how beautiful their daughter looks. She's a perfect mixture of the two of them. Parker looked down at the mother of his child, using his side to lean down a bit to give Deanna a kiss on the lips and whispered something to her, "I love you."

     His eyes glanced down when he felt movement and saw Jasmine looking at him with those beautiful brown eyes. The stare lasted for a good moment before she started to wonder somewhere else. His heart completely melt. "Look who decided to wake up. Hi, Jasmine." The boy answered in a soft tone, lowering his head to lightly kiss her tiny hand couple times. "Do you wanna say hi to mommy?" Parker was talking to the baby as he looked over at Deanna, wondering if she wanted to hold her.

The moment Parker heard Jasmine starting to fuss, he was quick to jump onto his two feet and make his way to the bassinet next to Deanna's hospital bed. He didn't want the baby to wake her. After spending fourteen hours in labor, she deserves to get some rest. He carefully picked the baby up, sliding one hand under her head and the other under her bottom before bringing her close to his chest. He then went sat down on the edge of the bed, gently moving his arm underneath while still supporting her head. A bright smile appeared onto his face when he notice the way she cringe her nose while sleeping. It was very cute to witness. Their daughter has almost the same features as Deanna; she has her nose, the way she smiles, her chubby cheeks. A mini version of Deanna. "Hey, Jasmine. It's daddy." Parker said in a soft tone, still smiling brightly. Wow, he never thought she would be so tiny. With the free hand, he put his index finger next to her small hand and could already feel the little grip she was giving.

"Just wanna say how excited we are that you're here with us. And while we still don't know how to be parents that doesn't mean we're gonna stop trying. Mommy and me loves you so much." He lowered himself to lightly kiss her little hand. Parker wasn't as scared during the nine months Deanna was pregnant compared to now. The fact that their daughter is here in the flesh changes everything. They're no longer kids, but parents to a little girl. "I won't let nothing bad happen to you."

Deanna knew that while her and Parker had known each other since they were kids, that didn’t mean they had always been sexual. Her personality had the sexual title crammed in there since her later teenage years, but Parker wasn’t as blunt as she was. It was possibly why she ended up pregnant soon after they even declared their feelings for each other, or why she found she enjoyed making him squirmish so much. Either way, her hand was inching further up and she enjoyed each little grimace she gained. “I know I am, that’s what I get for being around you since you were a kid. And no, no way. It’s all you. Like, every woman craves sweets but that doesn’t make the damn kid decide it’s a bounce house!” With a smile, the brunette used that opportunity to steal a kiss from her boyfriend after the cap was on her smaller head, scrunching up her nose as she did so. “You put the kid in me, you aren’t getting out of holding my hand, Miles.” Deanna replied, gently tapping his cheekbone to mess with him. “You’re stuck with me.”

parker didn't had many experience when it came to sex, probably couple times between high school and his years in college, but not many stories to share. he was always a complete dork, video games and star wars were his life growing up. both of them always had this playful relationship back when they were kids, but it was never sexual like how it is now. guess, that's why he gives in so easily each time she tease the hell out of him. a deep breath was released from his mouth when her hand was pulled away from his thigh, letting out a chuckle soon after. "oh please, you loved being around me when we were kids. don't deny it." parker was about to respond to second part of her sentence when he was kindly interrupted when she gave him a kiss, smiling brightly. "well, in that case, remind me not to give her any sweets when she's little older. otherwise, you're screwed because you'd have two hyper people to deal with." the boy laughed, playfully tapped the tip of her little nose. "always and forever."

Deanna attempted to make sure her smile didn’t falter as he practically praised her once more on being a good mother, only nodding her head. She didn’t want to let him know she was practically terrified of becoming a mother, or ending up like her own. While she knew her mother loved her and cared for her, she had Deanna young. She still craved the life she wanted to live while having a child and while she turned out okay, Deanna didn’t want her daughter to ever feel that way. Keeping the smile up on her lips, Deanna reached up to run her hand down over the back of Parker’s neck before leaning over to kiss him lightly. “At least you’re smart and know not to deny it.” The brunette joked, scrunching her nose up before kissing his cheekbone this time. “And yeah, we should probably be more careful. Not my fault that you’re just really… irresistible…” Deanna trailed off, jokingly moving to let her hand graze up his thigh playfully before reclining back into the couch. “God, it’s so your fault. Your hyper active gene just… took over and now I have a bouncing baby in my stomach.” Moving her hand around to rest on the large bump their daughter took up, Deanna smiled a bit brighter at Parker’s remark. “Oh no. I make no promises and no apologize for whatever I do in the delivery room while you’re kid is literally clawing her way out of me.”

Parker enjoyed the amount of affection Deanna was giving, every single touch she gave caused the hair from back of his neck to raise. He was about to respond, but the next move she made took him little off guard. A nervous chuckle fell from his mouth the moment he started to feel her hand grazing up to his thigh, playfully shaking his head. She's such a big tease. "I see you got jokes now... You're hilarious, babe." The boy said in a playful manner, giving her an innocent look. "While my hyper active gene might be part the blame for the bouncing baby in your belly, your cravings for sweets is also at fault here. So, the blame should be divided equally." Parker lowered his eyes to look at the bump and gave a smile as he cannot imagine how hyper their daughter is going to be once she's little older. The newly parents are definitely in for a treat. He glanced up at the brunette and raised an eyebrow. "Okay fine. I guess, I deserve the pain for giving you a hyper active baby. Or maybe I'll bring a pillow for you to hold onto instead." He laughed, removing his baseball cap and reached over bit to place it above Deanna's head before kissing her cheek.

“Mm, yes. So thank God our parents decided that being grandparents would be a good thing.” Deanna joked as her head tilted to the side and she was able to relax for the first time in what seemed like forever, but mainly because of the anticipating that seemed to be bottling up of having this kid. “You know I’m vain so obviously I love hearing you brag about me,” She laughed again, and was actually serious about what she said. She was cocky and vain and everyone around her knew it, but she loved herself. That surely was never going to change. Looking up at him, the dopey grin on his face only caused one to appear on her own. “Yeah? You like it? Good, because I do too. It’s pretty and has a nice sound and ring to it. See? I’m even amazing when it comes to baby naming. What more could I be? Seriously?” She was joking, of course, and the growing grin on her face only proved that she was amused. Once she could feel it worked out the lower knots, Deanna reached around to grab his hands to hold instead, turning to face him even more. “I love you, too, and thank you. I think you did. And did you really think I was lying? Because your kid is slowly killing me. I can’t wait until she’s out for more reasons than one.”

Her response didn't surprise him one bit. It shows just how well Parker knows her. He would be a terrible best friend and boyfriend if he didn't. He said nothing, just simply shook his head and allowed a chuckle to escape between his lips. Deanna really is something. "You are pretty amazing at just about everything. I'm not gonna deny that. That's why I have no doubt you will become an amazing mom to our little girl." Parker allowed his hands to fall down once he was done rubbing her back and could feel her soft hands grabbing to his, narrowing his honey brown eyes to look up into hers. It didn't took long for the living room to be filled with his laughter. "I can't imagine what you must be going throught during this whole pregnancy. Least, we know to be extra careful for now on." The boy leaned forward to give her a kiss before playfully rolling his eyes and continued on, "It's not my fault she's jumping inside your belly. She could've inherited any gene of mine, but she wanted to go with hyper. Hopefully, she does decide to come out soon that way she could give your body a rest. Just promise me you won't break my hand while you're in labor."

Deanna could see it now, the almost perfect mixture of the two of them in their baby girl. She just hoped it was about 75% Parker, 25% Deanna. As confident in herself as she was, she just knew he was naturally the better person, and would only want that for her child. “Yeah, I guess you’re right. I’m sure my mom would love to take her for a few days and there isn’t any doubt your parents aren’t stoked to be grandparents, even now.” She said head craning to the side as his hands massaged into her muscles. Tight and constrained, mainly due to the fact that the pregnancy had taken a toll on her body, but she would never admit that to anyone other than Parker. “Baby, brag all you want. My kisses are to die for.” she teased with a grin spreading across her lips and she glanced back to peek at him, smirking. “Jasmine is pretty, though I know you liked the name Sophia so… Maybe Jasmine Sophia Miles?” She suggested, tilting her head back to kiss his cheek and release a deep breath of gratitude as soon as he massaged her lower back, where it was aching the most. “God, I love you.”

Parker chuckle lightly as he continued to work on her back, remembering the time when he told his parents that he was going to be a father. At first, they weren't too thrilled about the unexpected news because they wanted him to be done with school and get his degree first, but plans changed and with time, they were able to deal with it. "Exactly, and just imagine all the free time we would have... the things we would be able to do. It'll be like a little vacation for us which is a must." While arguing with Deanna about silly things is something he enjoys doing, arguing about her kisses would just backfire. Her kisses are to die for. It leaves him wanting more. "You love to hear me brag about you." His eyes looked over to meet with her gaze and simply gave a big grin, playfully shaking his head. Words cannot describe how much he love this girl. "Hmm, Jasmine Sophia Miles... The name does sounds perfect. Yeah, let's name her that." Parker leaned his head forward just enough for her to kiss his cheek, causing the corners of his lips to form onto a smile. Only she could make him smile like a complete dork. He moved both hands around every spot around the lower back to make sure her muscles were relax. "I love you. I think I got every knot in your muscle. Damn girl, you weren't kidding 'bout your back."

“You might be right but… God, it’s gonna be so bad. A mix of me and you? Can you imagine how lethal that’s gonna be?” Shaking her head some, Deanna watched as Parker adjusted his hair and baseball cap with a smile on her face, almost admiring how good he looked doing it. It was almost a sin how attractive he was, and she was just glad she was able to even say that out loud without feeling weird about it. A year ago they weren’t even anything more than just two best friends, and now they were having a baby together? It was kind of surreal when she thought about it. “Yeah… Probably. I might feel a bit bad for being snappy with you so I should probably give you a little something, and if that’s kisses that you want, I can work with that.” Deanna agreed with laughter ringing from her throat, thankful she was able to get some of that before the stress of the baby actually coming settled in much thicker than it already was. Sighing, the brunette leaned on back into Parker, immediately feeling her shoulders roll back into his light grip with a sense of relief. The pregnancy was already taking a toll on her body, and she was pretty sure Parker could already feel the knots in her muscles. “Mm,” She said after a moment, her eyes fluttering closed. “I like Jasmine.”

the image of how their daughter might look like started to play inside his head, laughing at the idea of just how crazy she's going to be running around the apartment. a mixture of his sense of humor, her sassy attitude, both of their dorky personalities. they are definitely in for a treat. "oh, we're in deep trouble, but hey, that's why there are grandparents. she could go with them whenever we want a day to ourselves." it's crazy at the way things has happened between them within the last year. they were living in the same apartment as roommates only to blossom into a friendship, becoming best friends only to turn into something more and now they're expecting a child together. it's pretty wild, but there's nothing parker wouldn't change because in the end, he got the girl and fell in love. talk about a sappy ending. "and not to brag, but your kisses are always amazing to receive." the moment he started to move his hands around her back, parker could feel the tension in her muscle. he could tell the pregnancy must really causing some stress. once he was done working on one part, he moved on to the next knot she must have. "jasmine is nice name. i like it."

“Oh? So she’s gonna get her hyper activity from you? I should have known. I’m gonna have to deal with Parker 2.0.” Deanna released a soft chuckle from the back of her throat at the teasing in the air, and her hand moved down to run over her large belly, grasping onto the end of her shirt to pull down over her stomach since given the size of it, it was constantly riding up to expose some sort of skin. Looking up at him again, Deanna’s eyebrows lifted up in an almost perfect arch. “I’m just letting you know now, Miles, that if I snap at you due to late night sleep deprivation… It’s not my fault and we can revert back to this very moment, okay? Okay.” Deanna’s lips twisted up into a cheeky smile and she leaned forward to return each and every kiss he gave her, before she was being tugged on, which she immediately moved to situate herself so he could move his hands down over her back like she very wanted. “You’re the best, slow poke.” The brunette breathed, using a grip on the back of the couch to move herself forward, leaning back into her boyfriend for some comfort.

"Hey, and I'm gonna have to deal with Deanna 2.0. So, I think we're even." Parker let out a light chuckle as he removed his Boston baseball cap for a moment to adjust his hair by pulling it back before putting the hat back on. The next respond Deanna gave caused the boy to turned his head bit to the side, wondering if she was being serious or trying to be funny. "As long as you reward me with kisses after you snap, it's totally okay with me." The corners of his lip grew wide into a smile and adjust himself on the couch to get little more comfortable before he started to rub her back by working on the upper part. "Anything for my girl. So, since we know the baby is gonna be a girl, do you have any names in mind?"

“Doubtful. She only ever gets to be this excited when you’re around, which is weird, but I don’t question it.” Deanna laughed softly as her hand moved on over from the bottom of her bulging belly to the top, shaking her head some. It amazed her, really, but she knew that there was some higher thing where bonding was already taking place and Deanna had no doubts that their daughter was going to be a daddy’s girl and have him wrapped around her little finger. “We’ll be terrible parents but still make it work,” Deanna joked, reaching up to gently tap his chin before she stole a kiss, sighing as she glanced down at her stomach. “True… I’m not sure if we’re ready right now.” She laughed again, before she arched her eyebrow at the kiss. “How about now? Why wait, huh?”

There's no doubt that she's going to have him wrapped around her little finger. He gives in too easily whenever Deanna gives him that sweet smile of hers, he cannot imagine what their kid is gonna do. Parker's in deep trouble. Hands down. "Exactly and no matter how scary parenthood is going to be, we have each other to lean on." An eyebrow was raised and just shook his head, flashing a smile at her direction. "Oh, you want the back rub now? Hmm, I have to think 'bout it." The boy joked, playfully tapped his chin as he pretended to think about her request . "Come here, speed racer." Parker laughed, sneaking in a kiss before lightly pulling her hand to come close.

“Oh yeah? You think so?” Deanna joked as her smile perked up with Parker’s chuckle, finding it almost rather intoxicating for some reason. If he could laugh at the most stressful time in their life, she was definitely going to enjoy it. They both were scared out of their minds and with the arrival of their little girl pending any minute, the stress was weighing down on both their shoulders. Feeling the small kiss on the back of her hand, Deanna relaxed a bit more and closed her eyes for the time being and felt more at ease than she had for a long time that evening. “Yeah, so we’re pretty much winging it? Sounds like a plan, babe.” Deanna said and turned her head so he was back in her line of sight with a smile etched over her lips. “Well… She’s more than welcome to come any minute. I’m so over being a whale and all the back pain she’s causing. I’m like, 80 years old in a college student’s mind.”

“Definitely. Unless she reacts the same way and has her own little kick party when I'm not around." It's nice to take a step backward and act like a bunch of college students, to make a stressful moment worth laughing about. Both of them have very little time left to act like bunch of childish young adults with no responsibility before their daughter decide it's time to arrive and become parents. It's a scary thought to think about. "Well, yeah. I mean, that's all we can do and hope we could become good parents." his eyes met with her gaze and couldn't help, but form a smile to match with hers. "Be careful what you ask for because she might take your word for it and decide to pop out now." Parker joked, leaning forward to give her a sweet kiss on the lips. "How 'bout after this pregnancy is over, I give you a nice back rub. Hmm?"

Deanna had to shake her head at him at that point because yes the hormones were to blame on the baby. Even if Deanna was naturally always moody and always seemed to have a bit of an attitude, she could for once blame it on something other than herself. “Hey, I’m pregnant, I’m allowed.” Deanna breathed out with a smile tugging at the corners of her lips, reciprocating the kiss he gave her before her eyes drifted down to when he kissed her stomach. It amazed her how something so tiny and something everyone did seemed to effect her. It was his way of showing affection to their child, and she admired it almost, because it always seemed to gain a reaction from their unborn baby. “She’s not even popped out yet and she’s letting us know that she’s daddy’s little girl,” The brunette laughed and reached up to move her fingers through Parker’s darker hair as his head stayed lowered before moving with him when he leaned up. “Uh, like a twenty. Nothing less.” She laughed along with him, noting both the nervous cackling they both seemed to have. “I don’t think a book in the world can ever prepare us for her to get here.”

"i think she's always been daddy's little girl." parker reacted to her response with a chuckle, looking over at the brunette as he helped her get into a better position. reaching to grab her hand, he laced their fingers together before giving the back of it small peck of kisses. despite the hundred of books they've read and attending to any available parenting classes, they are nowhere close to being ready. there's no way to knowing until the baby is officially here and that's what scares him, slowly counting down the days for their child's arrival. the anticipation is killing him. and after finding how nervous deanna is, he could tell he's not the only one. "yeah, the only way to be prepare and ready would be when she's really here with us." the boy commented, playing with her tiny fingers. during the pregnancy, it brought them much closer. "she's probably waiting for the right time to make her grand entrance... like mommy, like daughter." he joked with a wide smile.

Deanna couldn’t help but let the smile begin to spread over her lips at the sound of Parker’s laughter filling the room. With the two of them laughing it was hard not to remain smiling. It was just a natural thing with him, and she shouldn’t expect anything less. “Babe, your kid has me crying one hour to laughing the next. I’m always hormonal, or so it seems like it.” Deanna responded with her head still tilted back, resting on the cushions of the couch when the kick to his hand could be felt on her large belly. Laughing a bit louder this time, Deanna leaned her head back up and moved her hand down to rest where the baby just kicked. “That, or she’s just excited to have her Daddy near by.” She countered, gently poking his nose with her forefinger.

with her cute laughter and the way her smile lights up the entire room, how could you not fall head over heels for deanna? it makes your heart melt. that's exactly what happened with parker. "sure, dee, blame my kid for your crazy roller coaster of hormones." parker joked, making a face when she poked the tip of his nose, leaning down to give a sweet kiss on the lips. "well, i mean, she is daddy's little girl." the young boy shrugged with a smile, lowering his head to kiss where he felt the baby kicked before going back to his original position. the belly kisses were always his way to let their unborn child know that he's here. "on a scale of one to ten, how nervous are you for jasmine to arrive? because for me, i'm like a solid twelve." he nervously chuckled.

Deanna knew that her larger stomach was just an obstacle in the way of getting closer but Parker seemed to be insistent, which worked out for them, as she was able to return his kisses when he came up close. “How could I forget about that?” Deanna teased herself and reached up to gently cradle his chin in her hand, leaning forward to easily begin to deepen the kiss. She eventually pulled her lips away for some air, about the time that he was able to move along her neck, feeling the smile on her skin only making one appear on her own lips. “That’s because you’re supposed to just know these things, Park.” She chuckled, licking over her lips some. “Read my mind or… whatever.”

a chuckle fell from between his lips as parker continued to work on her neck, rolling his tongue over her pulse between every kiss he left on her soft skin. "well, are you still hormonal because you know, it's never too late to make up for lost time." the young man teased, gently placing his hand above her belly for a moment before pulling it away when he felt something hit the palm of it. he moved his hand away from her neck to look down at her belly and said, "she just kicked my hand. i don't think she wants mommy to receive some love tonight." he joked.

Deanna had to try to hide the amusement that was slowly moving over her face as soon as she heard the thud of the book hitting the floor, which meant Parker could easily get closer to her without it being an obstacle, other than her already large belly being one. “Kids who have no idea what they’re doing who are just legally adults?” The brunette chimed in with laughter mixed in with her words, and despite her teasing, puckered her lips out to return each and every one of his kisses. It was reversed, usually she was the one initiating and coming onto him, but since the two actually switched from just friendship to something more, Parker grew comfortable in the relationship, or so she sensed. Tilting her head slightly to the side when his lips progressed elsewhere other than her own, Deanna let out a tiny little giggle as her nose wrinkled up when he reached her neck. “Oh, is that so?” She breathed, getting that cheeky smile she always got while moving her hand from the side of his neck down his shoulder and bicep. “How kind of you. Where were you last week when my hormones were out of control?” She joked.

The moment he felt his chest hit her large belly, he leaned forward as much as he could to return every single kiss. "Huh, that pretty much sums us up quite well. But you also can't forget upcoming parents who don't know how they're going to raise a baby." The room was being filled with her laughter which was always nice to hear, couldn't help but laugh along. The one who normally does all the teasing in their relationship was Deanna, but it's interesting to see the roles being reversed. Plus, it's always pleasing to allow her to get a taste of her own medicine. He simply nodded his head as he continued to work on her neck, feeling the corners of his lip growing widely. "Well, how was I suppose to know you were hormonal when you didn't come onto me? That was all you, babe." The boy teased.

9 months was quite a long time for most people, but for Deanna, it seemed to be the shortest stint of time imaginable. She was no where near prepared to become a mother, let alone a mother right smack in the middle of her time at college. She could hardly handle herself, let alone another little person she became responsible for for years to come. While most people seemed to think those 9 months were enough time to prepare themselves, Deanna didn’t. She was reading constantly and making it to every class she could find time for and yet she still remained clueless with her due date literally just around the corner. A sigh eventually escaped her nose and she put the paper back book down on her larger stomach when she heard Parker pipe up, which immediately resulted in a little bit of laughter falling from her lips. “Adults, really?” The brunette said after a gentle peck was pressed to her lips, managing to speak in between the kisses. “We’re hardly adults, babe. I hate to break it to you.” Pulling back from another kiss, Deanna’s hand moved up to cradle the side of Parker’s neck, her brows perking upwards. “Oh? How convenient for you.”

A smirk appeared onto his lips as he carefully grabbed the book that was on her big belly and threw it to the floor, letting out a chuckle. "If we're not adults, then what are we exactly?" The boy asked between the kisses. Trying to make the most of it because this little moment they're having could very much be the last before the baby arrives. Just thinking about the baby and how close she's coming scares him. He doesn't know how he'd be able to juggle with work, school, and taking care of a child. It makes him wonder if they're truly ready to become parents to a little human being. The peck of kisses soon departed from her lips only to move onto her cheek all the way down until he reached to her neck and stood there for a moment or two. "I'm all about pleasing my favorite girl."

they were close to the due date, and both of them are no where close to being ready. the couple were chilling and relaxing on the couch in the living room, reading the parenting books. parker spend the last two hours scrolling through page after page, reading every information word from word, and highlight everything that looked important. but yet, he still doesn't feel like he's fully prepared for when the baby arrives. he let out a deep sigh as he decided it was time for a break. "how about we take a little break from the books and act like normal adults?" he murmured as he turned around to face her and started to give her kisses. "you know, I just found out that sex help induce labor."

Deanna: watched him carefully from behind him. She wasn't sure if he was just talking or he was actually being sincere, but she would figure that out later. Right now it felt too good to actually hear him say all those things. "I guess you have a point there," She said, before she sat up and licked her lips, moving to hop off the table onto her feet carefully. "You're way too good for me, you know that?" She said, gently tapping his cheek.

Parker: turned his head to the side and found Deanna standing next to him, giving her a sweet smile only to have it grow wider when she started to poke his cheek. "I know," Parker paused, planting a kiss on her cheek. "And you're way too good for me, so maybe that's why we work out so well together." He continued as he reached his hand out to grab her tiny hand, lingering their fingers together. "Come on, let's go home." The two walked out of the room and exit the doctor's office, driving back home to their apartment.
