OKAY !! i’m finally going to write up the basics of baby’s time from turning to the movie events !! lana ( @falseleadered ) helped me out a great deal with this, so big props and love to her - also if i forget or get anything wrong regarding david, lana, lemme know and i’ll fix it !!
1860′s santa carla, barbara hewes finds herself in the wrong place at the wrong time and meets max and david. max takes a dislike to baby for a number of reasons and doesn’t care if she gets in the fray of a fight that occurs - she gets pretty badly enjoy to the point of inability to move from her place on the cobbles. basically left to die there.
david returns to the sight of the fight and baby is still lying in the street, dying. she looks so young and her life is going to end in the gutter of the street, so he goes to snap her neck but she looks scared, like terrified. he can’t do it, instead he cuts his wrist and makes her drink his blood before getting her to a hospital.
when she wakes up in the hospital there’s a note left by david basically explaining to her that she is no longer human and to meet him where he would explain everything to her in person.
when she arrives to the place on the note it’s max and not david. she’s told that david won’t be joining them and basically max tells her to leave, to fend for herself instead of having the guidance of david or max. the hatred for the head honcho begins then.
after this point baby does leave, she begins to travel the world, hiding in the shadows and such.
then in the late 1980′s she hears of a group of ‘vampires’ in santa carla, her home town. there were only two vampires that she knew in the entire world, david and max.
so in a whirlwind of memories and frustration, baby returns to santa carla, turning up on the doorstep just after star was sired.
