“So it’s been really nice talking to all of you for the last two minutes and thirty-five seconds but let’s cut to the chase, shall we? None of you are what I’m looking for. Go have another drink on Everlasting’s dime and head on home, I’m saying goodbye to all of you tonight.” Alexa said politely to a group of five very confused looking contestants before walking towards the bar for another drink. Hearing someone stop behind her, Alex smiled and turned around. “Enjoying the party? I think I’m about to.” She asked.
Forest meant to hang back a bit and watch how Alex interacted with others; try and get a good read on her. However, it seems that fate wanted them to talk a bit quicker. He had watched her dismiss the group of five and smiled. Sure he was here for his own reasons, but watching her cut down those people made him feel all warm and fuzzy inside - in a semi-platonic way. He liked people who didn’t mess around. “Honestly? The music is kind of lame,” he jokes as he orders a drink. “Between you and me, I’m still trying to get used to the cameras everywhere. I just hope that I don’t do something that turns me into a meme.” He smiled. His eyes shifted to the group of people who seemed a bit gloomy. “So what are you looking for?” He asked nodding slightly in the direction of the people who were now drinking heavily.
