Act natural; theyāll never know itās you and not him. Clearing his throat as he strolled down the corridor toward Xavierās office, he received a few strange looks from the teacherās that knew Xavier well enough to know that something wasnāt right, but they didnāt say anything, perhaps they assumed that Xavier wasnāt feeling himself today. Hyunseung nodded at a few teachers respectfully, giving the occasional smile to students roaming the halls, trying to create the faƧade that he was in fact Xavier and not some prankster trying to get a few cheap laughs.
Hesitantly peering into Xavierās office, Hyunseung sighed in relief when he saw no one sitting at the large, oak desk sat in the centre of the room. He was free to do as he pleased. Chuckling quietly to himself, he wondered round to sit at the desk and kicked his feet up on to the table; his muddy shoes dirtying a few stray papers. So this is how it feels to be head of the school, he thought. I think I could get used to this. Smiling proudly to himself as he looked around the room for a gimmick or two that he could pull off, he saw a microphone sat on the desk- the one that Xavier used to make announcements to the entire school. Now there was an opportunity he couldnāt miss.
Tapping his chin in thought as he tried to find something to say, Hyunseung leant forward, pulling the microphone to himself. āHello, school, this is I, Xavier. I have two announcements for your wonderful ears to hear today. First of all, I like to do the cha-cha with Magneto to Carly-Rae Jepsenās āCall Me Maybeā while youāre all tucked up in bed. Secondly, school is cancelled for the rest of the day- you may all go out to Busan to do whatever the fuck you want. Have fun, my children!ā He laughed as he turned off the microphone, spinning around in the comfy swivel chair that Xavier unfairly kept to himself. āI need one of these.ā
Hopping out of the chair, Hyunseung smiled, shoving his hands in his pockets as he leisurely strolled out of the room. What he didnāt need was a few teachers to be running down the corridor in his direction, although, if he thought about it, he had just broadcasted to the entire school, so what could he expect? Grimacing, he picked up his pace and began running in the opposite direction, taking every opportunity he could to get the teachers off his trail.
As he rounded a corner he ran straight into a student, nearly knocking them both off their feet. Looking at her with alarm, he coughed, flicking a stray bit of hair from his eyes. This was the opportunity he needed- this girl would be his get away. āHello there, student. Iām going to do a room check of both dorms- starting with yours. Please lead the way to your room; Iām in a bit of a hurry.ā
