who ever said that loving another human being was an easy thing? because that person was clearly mad. driven insane out in the desert with the sun to melt their minds, and salt water to drive their senses crazy. for ken it was his only weakness - it made his straight forward, genius mind a scrambled mess of road kill and in the midst of monsters and the thick putrid stench of blood and danger - he could only think of mina. mina, where the hell was she? lee jaehwan you will find her and protect her. he'd managed to escape - only after that burning sensation had riddled him and those monsters had rattled his bones with fear. but that word - fortitude, was no joke after all. because now that he was set on finding mina, his adrenaline was pumping and his heart was about to rip its way through his ribs from in between his lungs. class six, that's where he hoped she would be - untouched and safe - he hoped. his stomach turned a little at the thought that maybe she'd... ken couldn't think that way. he reached up to brush a hand through his dark hair while the gears in his brain were rebooted to work an analysis of what to do. people had powers now, and so did he. he could fight and find a way out of here. ok - ken. you're going to find the girl, and fight the monsters, then get the fuck out of there. man, if this wasn't a video game then he didn't know what the hell it was. with that objective set in his mind he turned on his heel, ignoring the way it slipped in blood - someone or something's blood. instead he focused on running in the direction of class six - praying to god that girl was there. the apple of his eye and the core of his scrambled mind.
