Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger in Marvel’s Black Panther

While Jesse was normally the kind of person to let a small incident like bumping into someone go without even bothering to say anything, this time was different. The moment he felt his body unexpectedly collide with another, he was quick to give the other a rough shove. “Ever heard of watching where you’re fucking going? Maybe you should try that.”
Nick was usually pretty good at ignoring rude strangers like the one in front of him. Other times the urge to spit out a witty comment won out and now seemed to be one of those times. “ I don’t know, Let me call up your mom and she can teach me how. “ he retorted with the slightest hint of a grin.

Nick frowned as he looked at his reflection in the glass window. How was he supposed to walk around town without looking like a fool with these things? As a person passed him by he quickly spun around to face them. “ On a scale of one to ten how ridiculous do these things look? I need your honest opinion so don’t hold back. ” he added.
M!A: Nick finds himself having fox ears suddenly.
“ What the hell are these? “
Looking around Jack started to get concerned. This was not New York. The People we’re different, the girls we’re actually wearing oufits that showed leg and not the poofy dresses and the boys all seemed to be wearing tight fitting clothes - not that Jack was complaining about either of these things. But really he was lost and short of being kidnapped there could only be one answer to this. Grabbing the first person he saw he tapped them on the should. “Excuse me but is this Santa Fe?” Jack asked in a hopeful tone, hoping that someone had taken him there.
Nick had been trying to get used to his new human body, but it was far from easy. He had been taking a stroll down the sidewalk marveling about how different this place was from Zootopia when he suddenly felt someone tap his shoulder. Nick had never even heard of Santa fe before in his life but he decided to humor the guy anyway even if it was just for his own enjoyment. “ Santa Fe? Oh yeah sure, this is Santa Fe alright! Great place isn’t it? “ he replied with a smirk.

“ I don’t know about you but my bones weren’t made for this kind of chill. “ Nick admitted as rubbed his arms in an attempt to warm them up. He quickly took a seat a few feet from the girl that had been unfortunate enough to land in the situation with him. “ If you wanted to we could always bust open one of those keurig coffee makers over there and get ourselves a steaming cup of joe. “ he proposed. It’s not like there was anyone around to really stop them.

Another ball to attend, Selina was divisive if this ball was a work ball or a Selina ball. Who she wanted to be for this event was obvious. The only downside was that after her little excursion last time, the number of real jewels being flaunted on events that let anyone in was slimming. Now all Selina could see were phonies. That wasn’t going to settle in well. Clutch in hand, Selina decided to mosey around the area, thinking that she would have to resort to other measures if she was going to make her next month’s rent. That meant taking advantage of the obvious glances made towards her from various attendees. Work was never this entertaining.
When Nick wasn’t trying to get over on people usually he spent his spare time trying get himself a date. That was the whole reason he had even decided to attend the ball in the first place. As he brushed passed the crowd his eyes instantly landed on the women across the way. Nick couldn’t help but approach her as soon as he saw her. “ Well aren’t you a sight for sore eyes. “ he commented with a grin.

Ariel had always made it a habit to buy gifts for those she tended to along with those she cared for – even acquaintances. Everyone deserved a gift for the holidays regardless of what they celebrated. She stopped when the man spoke to her, curiosity crossing her features. Perhaps such a gift would be nice for some of the people she was taking care of considering she didn’t know what they would physically like. “Are you sure? That seems quite the deal – you aren’t going to give them to people you care for?” She asked, wanting to make sure the other had gifts to give as well.’
The girl in front of him seemed like just the type that would get suckered into one of these kind of things. At her question he quickly glanced down somberly. “ Well, that’s just the thing I don’t really have anyone to give them to. “ he replied, hoping to garner enough pity to get her to buy them from him.

Eliza loved Christmas. Generally, Eliza liked any thing, but the festive season held a special place in her heart. The sudden appearance of the man in front of her almost made her drop her bags. Brown eyes widen slightly, her glance flickering between the presented gift cards and the man himself. The naive middle sister was trusting, almost to the point it was too trusting. She liked to hope everyone had the best intentions at heart. In the back of her mind, however, she could hear her eldest sister’s voice, and that alone caused her to hesitate. ❛ — Why are you selling them? Do you not have friends or family you can give them to yourself? ❜
Nick paused for a moment to take in her question. His demeanor changed quickly and he hung his head sadly. “ Oh no..I.. well I don’t really have anyone so... “ he replied trailing off a bit. Of course this was all part of the act, he found that nothing baited people like pity. It wasn’t really a complete lie. Aside from his mother Nick didn’t have anyone else and he hadn’t talked to her in a while.

Tommy was skeptical when it came to this kind of thing. He’d heard too many stories online and on TV of people getting scammed around the holiday season, and he didn’t feel like pressing his luck. “Uh, no thanks, man. All of my shopping is pretty much done, anyway. But hey, good luck to you. I’m sure someone else will appreciate the bargain.”
Nick wasn’t about to take no for answer. Even though there were plenty of gullible people he was sure would fall for his tricks he had to at least try ot get this guy. “ Are you sure? You’re not going to get a better deal then this. “ he replied, following along side him. “ Hey I’ll even throw in one for a restaurant of your choice. Really, pick one and it’s yours. “
“You have really nice fingers…”
( SEXUAL TENSION STARTERS )
“ I have nice fingers? “ Nick repeated before looking down at his hands. “ Well that’s the first time anyone has ever told me that before but thank you. You have a nice face. “ he chimed with a smirk.
If there was anything Nick loved about the holiday season it was how much more gullible it made people. Everybody seemed so desperate to get their hands on the best gift so naturally Nick used that to his advantage. Quickly the con man stopped the person he spotted on the street with a wide grin on his face. “ Hey you there! Got any Christmas shopping done yet? What if I told you that I had the best gifts you could ever ask for right here. “ without any warning the male pulled out several gift cards from various places out of his back pocket. “ I’ve got five twenty five dollar gift cards right here, save you all the trouble of having to run around like a chicken with its head cut off for only one hundred dollars. Now I know that sounds like a hefty price but I promise they practically pay for themselves. “

With little hesitation, Benjamin’s fingers curled into the fabric of the other’s shirt before giving it a gentle tug in an effort to close the space between their bodies. A smile curled onto Benjamin’s lips as he leaned in closer toward the other, “Do you know how badly I want to kiss you right now? But, what I really want to do is show you off and make everyone jealous that you’re mine.” His words were incredible cocky sounding, but for once he was being genuine – it wasn’t for his own personal gain, no it was more than that. “Let’s go out to a club or something, I want to dance and make out with you.”
The last thing Nick expected was to be quickly pulled into the other. ( Not that he was complaining of course ) “ Hey hey, watch the shirt. You’re going to wrinkle this thing. “ he said, a grin soon falling on to his lips. His eyes winded a bit as he listened to the other, finding it incredibly alluring. “ Well if that’s all you wanted then you should have just said so. “ he replied, as he leaned in closer to him. “ I would never say no to a face like that. “
“Ah, yes, the holidays – a time where everyone things little baubles on discount make perfect gifts. If you actually valued someone, you would give them something of actual value. Things that mean something don’t have discounts,” Stefan complained outwardly. It was obvious he had taste in the expensive considering his outfit probably cost more than it should.
Nick couldn’t help but let out a snort as overheard the guy. “ You really think Christmas has ever been about holiday cheer and all that other sappy bullshit? “ he questioned cynically. “ Nobody ever admits it but what everyone really cares about is the gifts. “ he pointed out, bluntly.
Never let them see that they get to you.
