Jiang Cheng

Finally got around to reading Scum Villain (finished it in like 4 days) which threw me right back into my love of Mo Dao Zu Shi and how my heart hurts with the way things ended for Jiang Cheng…. Also I fell in love with jiang Cheng/wei wuxian/lan wangji fics but my point, what if in the aftermath of that argument and revelation, rather than going into Solitude/Exclusion (forgot which one it is), he decides to leave? Gets everything ready for his departure, names his successor, leaves a letter for Jin Ling and leaves.

Decides that after everything he accomplished as well as everything he lost, he gets to be a little selfish and chooses himself for once. If everyone else can leave, if everyone can make the choice to move on, why not him?

And what if he decides to leave China entirely and say… goes to Japan lol. The language barrier wouldn’t be too much of an issue since, as once heir and current sect leader, he would know more than language in order to trade more effectively

All I’m saying is Jiang Cheng x Kagome 👀👀👀

(And I am still working on my jjk fic, just fell into a bad mental place where I nearly deleted all my fics cuz being perceived is fucking terrifying)

Genshin Impact x INUYASHA X-over Zhongli's POV

Zhongli first sees her when Osial begins his attack on Liyue Harbor.

She's ushering a group of children into the Ministry of Civil Affairs building, yelling out orders to the other civilians. The Millelith nearby seem quite confused by her presence, each of them sharing glances amongst each other. He retreats further under the veranda while he continues to watch, intrigued by how the soldiers begin to defer to her orders. It's clear this isn't the first disaster she's been in nor does she have any problem taking lead.

Her stance holds true with each surge of water from the sea, never once faltering even as people rush past her.

Their eyes meet across the way, striking cerulean piercing straight through him like a freshly sharpened spear. She has a ferocity that hides in the furrow of her brow, the uptick of her chin, that speaks of a readiness to become as lethal as need be at a moment's notice. He dips his head in acknowledgement, gaze never straying from hers and feels a thrill go through him when hers falls straight to where his gnosis is hidden. It's instinctual, the way he knows that is what she is looking at.

And yet...

She turns away from him, the brief moment they shared there and gone, the momentum of her orders never having slowed once.

By the time the battle has ended and his appointment to the Northland bank draws near, he has lost sight of her.

When Lumine steps into the lobby, it occurs to Zhongli that what caught his attention was the same yet different sense of 'other' that came off the unknown woman.

I kind of imagine with this piece the inner thoughts of what each character would think when they first see her or how others react to her.

I stupidly signed up for an extra 4 hours on tomorrows shift and work 12 hrs now plus I work new years DAY all the while my brain tried to convince me to scrap the ENTIRE chapter I had written out and ready to be posted for next week

Didnt do that but! I am doing lots of editing and adding so I'm gonna continue to hope for successful update, just not sure now how much longer its gonna be than it was before.
