au where yuri is a princess and naoi is her bodyguard

when yuri was little, her younger siblings got murdered by a group a thieves that broke into the castle when their parents were overseas. ever since then, her parents have been very overprotective of her. whenever they’d have to leave, the castle would be heavily guarded, leaving yuri isolated from others.

years later (maybe yuri is about 16-17) her parents decide to hire a bodyguard, but she isn’t so big on the thought of being followed around all the time, and she knew she could take care of herself.

the nakamura’s hire ayato naoi to watch over their daughter and keep her safe from any harm.

at first, the two bicker and use sarcasm against each other. they just can’t seem to get along. eventually, yuri finds a way to sneak away from naoi and run off. she ends up in trouble and naoi has to come and rescue her. he gets hurt in the process and yuri feels guilty about it.

she takes him back to the castle where she tends to his wounds
