I’m reaching out because I’ve been a loyal fan of yours since 2007 and unfortunately I’m one of the many who has been affected by The Eras Tour Ticketmaster fiasco. My plan was to get wheelchair accessible tickets to night 1 or night 2 in KC, but had no such luck due to all of the glitches and repeatedly getting kicked out of the queue, etc. I then decided to look at ADA tickets for Denver and the site glitched and I accidentally purchased ADA tickets, but I had to immediately cancel my order because for 2 it cost around $840 and my family cannot afforded that, along with the cost of making the trip. So, I had to call capital one for a refund to our account. I am absolutely crushed! I have never missed a tour and the fact that I’ll miss seeing you after 4 years of not touring is just so devastating, as seeing you is the one thing I’ve always had to look forward to in my life. I hope and pray there will be another opportunity to purchase tickets. Please help if us all if you can! I love you and happy birthday week! ❤️

Email to Ticketmaster: ADA TICKETS TO ERAS KC

To whom it may concern: 

My name is Halie Sovereign. It is with a heavy heart that I was unable to secure ADA (wheelchair accessible) tickets to Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” for either night in Kansas City, due to the site’s incessant glitching and being kicked out of the queue. Every time I’d try to select seats an error would occur and gray out, making them unavailable. In fact, at one point I was able to make it to my cart with tickets ready to purchase and it completely kicked me out. Keep in mind that I tried this for both night 1 and night 2. I find this VERY unsettling because the opportunity was ripped away from me and out of my control. Also, how is it that even through all of this, most fans were able to select general seating without difficulty. I don’t have that luxury. It’s hard enough that ADA seating is limited as it is. Interesting that this has been an issue across the board for others in the disabled community who have tried to get ADA tickets to their chosen tour date. Therefore, I am not only writing on behalf of my experience, I’m writing for the many others in the disabled community as well.

I have been a fan of Taylor Swift’s since the very beginning - 16 years - and I have never missed a tour until now. As someone who has cerebral palsy and has used a wheelchair to move about since age 3, Taylor’s music has been my comfort through adversity and dark times. She gives me hope in times of struggle inspiring me to push through and I truly wouldn’t be the person I am today without her impact. My parents have supported my love for Taylor and are so grateful for the light she has shed on my life. They have attended the majority of shows with me and even drove me three hours to Kansas City so that I could attend her reputation tour. I attended her first headlining tour when I was fifteen and have seen her perform live since. I’m 29 now. Seeing Taylor Swift is the one thing I have to look forward to when she comes around. I can’t have the opportunity of seeing her again after 5 years taken away from me. I just can’t. Attending The Eras Tour is quite literally my one and only goal for this year.

In conclusion, I desperately ask that I have a second chance to secure tickets to either night of Taylor Swift’s “Eras” Tour.
