hey - weighing in on the friend situation, it sounds like you're doing your best to avoid hurting her. i think the best way to respond if you don't tell her and she finds out and talks to you about it, is with pure sympathy for her situation. so it doesn't matter if you already knew. you can say, 'oh my gosh how awful, how are you feeling about it?' and focus on what she's dealing with. it sounds like you're decicing not to tell her out of a true desire to protect her feelings, so i think you shouldn't worry too much about her being mad at you. uNLESS you think it would hurt her mORE if you don't tell her and she finds out you didn't. ygm?

i think my final answer is to just not tell her. but i agree with you on being sympathetic if she finds out and mentions it to me. i won’t say i knew unless she asks and i’ll just make sure she’s okay if she does find out

i would not tell her. she has removed her ex from her life intentionally. leave him out of her life.

soooo she saw a picture of him that his work posted on fb and she text him and said he looks like he’s gained weight that karma caught up to him. i’m scared now

guys i have a question. one of my friends got cheated on last year and, very obviously, removed her ex from all her socials but i just found out that he got the girl he cheated with pregnant and she’s due in september and keep in mind they only broke up around thanksgiving. im torn between never wanting my friend to find out and wanting to tell her so that if she does find out and also finds out that i knew she doesn’t get mad at me…but when they broke up she had to move home and it’s 3 hours from me and i feel like that’s a very in-person conversation to have so idk what i should do
