HE’S THE HERO GOTHAM DESERVES , BUT NOT THE ONE IT NEEDS RIGHT NOW .
independent & selective nolanverse bruce wayne.
JUST SOME LATE NIGHT DIVERGENT POINTS I’D LIKE TO SHED LIGHT ON (these are undeveloped, but more info will be added later):
Rick and Jessie never happened. Rick did, however, interfere with her husband’s domestic abuse because that’s what he does, protect people.
In season 2, given Lori and Rick’s ALREADY rocky and failing relationship, Rick began to lose the ‘romantic’ feelings. The reality of Lori’s preference (not her “love”, as I’m not saying if she did or did not love him) towards Shane hit Rick hard, and so he disconnected completely from Lori as seen in the beginning of season 3. Moving on to Lori’s death, Rick still mourned her loss as in canon, terribly. His heart was broken as his initial love for her didn’t simply die, but the relationship just didn’t feel like it used to anymore. He still loved Lori, just in a different way. I mean, he still carries their wedding ring and they created a beautiful son together. How could he not?
I need to add a headcanon on how Lori and Carls death would affect Rick. I’m not ready.
not be rude or anything... but how does n.egan being all “that kid was the future” and shit erase the FACT that he was going to hurt c.arl, BRUTALLY all to make rick surrender and suffer. don’t tell me he cares for c.arl. that’s some ooc and terrible characterization to me, as to be expected from amc. p.s. this isn’t me being anti-n.egan pls don’t think that.
❝ Maybe you people are BETTER off without me. Go ahead. I say there’s a place for us, but maybe… maybe it’s just another pipe dream. Maybe I’m fooling myself again. Why don’t you go and find out yourself? Send me a postcard. Go on, there’s the door. You can do better? Let’s see how far you get. No takers? Fine. But get one thing STRAIGHT if you’re staying. This isn’t aDEMOCRACY anymore. ❞
indie rick grimes of amc’s twd.
just one last post before i leave. i won’t accept tonight’s episode as canon. i don’t think i’ll ever be able to write any verse or thread in which carl is not alive, at all. ever.
i take back everything bad i said about season 7. except for glenn’s death.
manwithamic replied:
especially when you consider they built the whole passing things on to carl thing, and carl /is/ the central character of the comics and glimple said & much & to know he got killed off for some petty industry drama is nonsense
EXACTLY! how are you gonna build up to the all out war with “we fight so our children can have a new world” and just... kill off a central and IMPORTANT character? rick’s own son? who was supposed to be part of that new world? where is the logic?
you know? i don’t wanna say that i’m mad, but i’m fucking MAD. killing off carl is the most stupid, poorly planned choice ever made in the history of television and i want that to be known. do the writers n producers really expect ratings to go up by pulling this bullshit? because HA! they’re not.
if you don’t fight, you d i e.

Me, imagining a scene in my head: beautiful poetic prose that gracefully and artfully describes the scene in vivid detail, giving the reader concise imagery and beautiful wordplay to ruminate on.
Me, actually writing: The angry man throwed his chair through the window angrily and bigly. "I'm angry and pissed off." He said because he was mad.
me: doing absolutely nothing also me: thinking abt bruce fucking wayne ???
