STORY

Kanako Ryuuzaki is the Fairy of the Aegis Veil, hail from the Argento Clan of Elementra and a direct descendant of the Silver Mage. As a Guardian Fairy, she serves among the current protectors of the Cauldron of Astra.

During her teen years, she studied at Orienta Academy. After graduating, she serves at the royal palace as a lady-in-waiting to the Princess of Elementra, Chidori, where she tutors the princess in court etiquette and magical studies.

THE ORIGIN OF ELEMENTRA

ABILITIES As the Fairy of the Aegis Veil, her magic is mainly defensive and supportive. Kanako can create barriers, blocks and deflects attacks, and protects others or lifts heavy objects. In battle, she can also unleash energy blasts, but they are mostly used to stun or push enemies back instead of causing serious harm.

As a descendant of the Silver Mage, she possesses extensive knowledge of alchemy and healing abilities, allowing her to create potions that neutralize poisons and treat injuries. Her healing abilities are most effective on recent wounds, while stronger poisons require both magic and specially prepared ingredients to neutralize them.

Although she possesses great abilities, everyone has their limits. Her magic is powered by her core, and powerful attacks can weaken or break her barriers. And excessive use of magic drains her energy, leaving her unable to fight or heal until she has recovered. Her healing focuses on preserving life, so she cannot revive the dead, regrow lost limbs, or heal the mind or soul.

The color of her magic appears as a soft bluish-silver light, forming shields, barriers, and glowing energy patterns.

It’s inspired by different games, shows, and creative ideas I’ve seen across media, but everything here has been reworked into my own lore and setting. Nothing is meant to directly copy or claim ownership of existing franchises. ]

THE ORIGIN OF ELEMENTRA

Eons ago, when the planet Elementra was a bare and unshaped world without order or law. Magic flowed freely across the planet, but without control or balance, it became so wild that the planet itself began to tear apart under its weight.

Sensing the chaos, the Cauldron of Astra, the source of all magic in Elementra, called across dimensions and summoned four heroes to its side. There, they were tested to prove their worth, both as individuals and to the Cauldron, which later granted each hero a blessing based on their strength and virtue, and becoming their home planet.

The Gold Leader, who guided and united their comrades when all seemed lost, was granted the gifts of unity. They would become the founder of the Oro Clan, destined to lead, protect, and hold the people together through times of peace and crisis.

The Silver Mage, who used their power to heal and protect others, was granted the gift of magical harmony. They became the founders of the Argento Clan, guardians of the arcane arts. Guided by their wisdom, magic would one day flow freely and be shared among all people, and protectors would rise to preserve the planet’s magical balance.

The Bronze Scholar, who guided their companions with great wisdom, was granted the gift of understanding. They became the founders of the Bronzo Clan, keepers of knowledge who used their wisdom to guide the world toward a better future, one that strength or magic alone cannot achieve.

The Iron Knight, whose courage stood firm against danger and who protected the weak without hesitation, was granted the gift of strength and protection. They became the founders of the Ferro Clan, the sword and shield of Elementra, defenders of the planet and its people.

With these four blessings and through their unity, the clans achieved greater balance, and order was established under the alliance of the four clans. Thus began the story of Elementra, the planet of Ore.

EXTRA INFORMATION + In Elementra, at the age of fourteen, teenagers are allowed to attend and undergo the Cauldron Trial. Inspired by the ancient trials of the Cauldron of Astra, this is a less dangerous version. It allows them to discover their true path and destiny, free from the constraints of their clans.

+ Orienta Academy is the school that teaches future generations of all walks of life, fairies, witches, knights, and scholars, guiding and shaping them as they prepare for their destined roles and chosen paths in life.

Sky jumped off the transport before it landed in the docking bay. He rushed into his home, his palace, which had been gifted to him by his father after he married Bloom a few years ago. He pushed past and ignored everyone in his way, his face as white as a sheet and his heart nearly stopping when he heard the news that his beloved Queen had fainted. This was deeply concerning, as Bloom is the Fairy of the Dragon Flame, known for protecting the world and universe from one threat after another, and she was not easily knocked down. The only exceptions were the times when she shared her Dragon Flame with her friends after they lost their powers or were harmed by the water stars.

Slamming the door wide open. "MY LOVE!" He rushed toward her as she lay on their bed. "Are you alright? What happened? Should I call the physician?" With the King fixed on his beloved wife, the physician raised an eyebrow when the King failed to notice that she was already standing beside the Queen. "Or maybe call the girls?"

He nodded to her decision, and moved to a different shelf - the one with the child literature. There were fables, and things for learning the way the world works, but for a start with the language... perhaps the simplest ones. "This one, perhaps" he suggested, pulling out and offering a scroll to Silverwing. It had drawings on it and text around it. "It is a very simple story, for the children. It tells of a Butzder," he pointed to a drawing of a cat-like, purple creature - it had much longer ears than a typical cat, two long tails and eight eyes - "that meets a pair of Geiron." He points to two squirrel-like creatures on another drawing - one pink, one blue. "The story teaches of the dangers of trusting what you do not know. The male Geiron feeds on recieving positive emotions and attention, and grows in size." The pictures further down the scroll show the pink squirrel-like being - the Geiron - growing in size throughout the pictures, and eventually the cat - the Butzder - hiding in a tree trunk to avoid a giant foot.

Ggringo let her look at the scroll, the pictures or text for a few moments, before considering something. "The earthen letters are not the same. You cannot read the text." He didn't ask - it was obvious that that had to be the case. "Perhaps a vocal learning would be preferrable? Or do you wish for me to teach you our written letters and then words?" He had very much no interest to be her teacher, but he had been tasked to assist her in any way, which reluctantly, included such too if it was necessary.

Silverwing knew well enough when sarcasm was slapped across her face. Yet she decided to say nothing, giving in to him only what satisfied him. Playing ignorant, her most valuable trump card, as she also understood. Despite the king's decree, some may disagree with him, but they are still bound to follow it.

"I'm open to either suggestion..." Silverwing still wonders why their king saved her and now even volunteers to save her planet. It bothers her a lot, and the growing list of gratitude only makes her feel uncomfortable and suffocated, as she now has to deal with this hater. "I suppose we can start with letters and pronunciation." Basic helps.

She smiled, both because she was endeared by the shyness but also because she wanted to make her friend feel more comfortable. She knew that Kanako was nervous when it came to the other Xiaolin Dragons. While Kanako had been here for a few months, Kimiko also knew that she was the newest member of the group. It wouldn't be easy to make her feel like she was naturally part of a group that had forms years and years before, but she wanted to do all she could at least.

New York City?... Kimiko perked up at that. She hadn't been in the Big Apple in a while, but she was excited for the opportunity to do so. She was happy to visit again with her friends, and with a new friend as well.

'Have you ever been to New York, Kanako? Or to America? There's so much I want to show you-'

Kanako smiled, revealing Scarlet's infamous sly smile. "A better question is where I haven't been..." Being a Phantom Thief, she has traveled across the world to retrieve cursed artifacts, a role and duty passed down within her family. She agrees that her role as a thief is a crime, no matter how it is perceived. However, sometimes words of persuasion are almost pointless with a fool who only becomes more attached when the value of the artifacts is revealed. Moreover, keeping the secret hidden is more a case of ignorant bliss than a problem.

Clearing her throat and retreating to her shy manner. "I assume you travel to America often, perhaps for New York Fashion Week?" Inviting Kimiko to walk down the hall to join the other Dragons as they prepare for their trip to hunt the Shen Gong Wu.

☀️-- If curiosity killed the cat, then he, Lois, Jimmy, and every other investigative reporter in Metropolis should have been dead twenty times over by now with the amount of danger they sought out. This was just a freak accident. The billboard was old, the metal rusted.

Clark grunted, his entire body tensing as the billboard hit him squarely on the backs of his shoulders. There wasn't time to change or fly up, but he had been able to wrap himself around several bystanders.

"Are you all right?" One hand quickly readjusted the glasses on his nose, keeping them from slipping and exposing him.

Spider-Lily and Onyx had been tasked to travel between dimensions as a demon warlord had set loose his brethren to escape to other universes to destroy. This was a pathetic and petty attempt after losing to their heroes and protectors in their own world.

Now, finding themselves on Earth-12 when trouble erupted, the heroines quickly donned their hero suits and threw themselves into the fight, protecting the city and being forced to battle the demon in the open. Something they hoped would not happen. Next, her spider senses began to react, leading her to notice the fallen billboard a second too late. "NO!" Upon numerous instances of multitasking, fighting demons, and protecting citizens. Exhausted, Spider-Lily’s reaction was too slow. They had barely gotten any rest since arriving in this new dimension, as they tried to locate and hunt down their foe quickly.

But the red spider was stunned when one man managed to protect the innocents and yet remained unhurt by the heavy debris, causing a blunt whisper to escape her lips. "You are not human..." Hearing the frightened civilian quiver, Spider-Lily quickly snapped back into action and unleashed two red webs from her palms, pulling the billboard just enough for the bystander to escape. "GO!" She bark the order, causing them to flee, but nodded silently to the inhuman man in thanks before returning to the fight.

Onyx was tossed like a rag doll, crashing into a car. It was surprising how quickly the midge demon had grown in power. With her spider sense reacting and warning her of what was about to happen, that she quickly held her arms across her face to brace for impact.

But a red broom appeared out of nowhere, striking the demon in the face before delivering several more blows.

"Broom, huh?" Onyx didn't wait to get up and join Lily's side.

"Do not judge! I have a painful urge to hit someone..." The red broom disappears, dissolving into a red string. "...badly."

Smirking before turning their attention to their enemy. "Give it up, um, whatever your name is..."

"And come with us quietly while 'Shield' is still kind to you." Her quick hand movements with the string were already preparing to form the web of the trick, ready to defend or attack.

"Why should I? I'm more powerful here than in our world. All the negative energy I have been feasting on, it’s a buffet over here." The demon snickered sinisterly before looking toward the heroines. "You can join me, and we can rule this world!" And his proposal was quickly rejected with two groans.

"Urgh! Hard pass..." Onyx waves her hands downwards to reject the offer. "And really take over the world? Can you be any more pathetic?"

Sharing her own expression of irritation as well. "Enough of this!" Spider-Lily held a red string in the shape of a star. "SEAL OF THE-"

The demon flinched at the sight of the sigil forming in her hands. They quickly attempted to flee, but an unseen force dragged it toward Spider Lily’s vortex, like a black hole consuming darkness itself.

Again, as their spider-sense began to act, halting the sealing ritual, a sudden camera flash distracted the foreign trio. Leading three heads turned to the source of the camera flash, held by Jimmy Olsen.

"Uh-oh..."

Pushing her bike along the path. Kanako whispered every vivid, colorful profanity word to herself, feeling as if fate were mocking her at her expense. In preparation for a fencing tournament, the young raven had stayed at the school's gymnasium much longer than she had anticipated. Before realizing a little too late, that she only had about 10 minutes to get home. To add to her misery, her bike chain decides to snap and fall off. And when she tries to call her brother to lament her problems, her phone's battery decides to die on her too.

Already angry, frustrated, and physically and mentally exhausted, she dreaded the outcome of coming home late and having to suffer the joint reprimand from her brother and parents. She can only deal with so much, especially given how fragile her patience is these days. And so, the Lioness decided to ignore her late grandmother's warning by taking a shortcut route home, which she had always been forbidden to take. "Kanako-chan, I believe this is a dire idea…" D'eon, her late grandmother's gentle and overprotective spirit guardian, hovered over her. "I don't care! And I don't have the energy to debate with you or argue with my brother when we get home. I just want to get home in peace!" The young raven continued on with her grumbles. And the Lioness never understood why her grandmother always forbade them (her siblings and herself) from taking this route, since nothing ever happened, until now.

Abruptly halted, feeling a chill as the hair on her neck rose. Even on these warm nights, cold breaths escape through her pale pink lips, causing her body temperature to drop drastically. She shivered as the color from her face drained. This was bad. Being reminded of her grandmother's teachings, whenever they felt that way, it meant that a dangerous being that was bound to the living, an ill spirit chained by its own sins, was close by. And with her trembling breath and will, feeling its intense glare on her back, it almost felt like she was facing something deeply evil and menacing, like a demon.

The guardian desperately wanted to shield and guard her charge, yet the blonde female knight could only offer her advice. Whispering to her. "My lady, listen to me carefully. Drop your bike and run." D'eon stays close to her, painfully watching her shiver from the cold and fear. "On the count of 3…" As the knight slowly counts down. "3…" The Lioness quickly ditched her bike and tried to make a run for it, but the spirit was quick and blocked her path.

"Do not look into its eyes…" Did she mention how fate has a funny way of mocking her? Of course. She looks into its eyes, inadvertently giving it the power to control her. Paralyzed, she was unable to break away from its hold or even make a sound. And slowly, as it reached out to her, she felt like an eternity had passed as she pondered each mistake that had been made. Before shutting her eyes tight and awaiting her painful fate.

The temple was beautiful, even in its ruinous state. Shafts of light spilled through cracks in the stonework, thick vines working their way into the cool rooms, seeking water. Clay quietly admired the natural beauty of this place, even as he stayed on guard.

Shen Gong Wu spotted at last, and no obvious traps present, he strode forward to grab the mystical artifact, when suddenly Kanako cried out. Distracted, his fingers brushed the Wu, and immediately, something shadowy and evil erupted from it, focusing immediately on Clay.

"Shit," he muttered quietly, preparing to spring out of the way and go for his lasso at the same time, but a moment later the newest member of the team was leaping forward, drawing the creature's attention and ire.

Without a second thought, Clay lay an open palm on the ground, and the stone of the temple answered his call, rising up and grappling the thing that grappled Kanako. "Not fast there, pardner!" he growled, and gripped it as tightly as it was gripping the Dragon of Wood, causing the demon to drop her and shriek in pain.

Raimundo leapt into action, sending out a cushion of air to slow her fall, then physically leaping through the space to catch her and carry her to safety. Behind him, Kimiko and Omi were attacking the thing with fire and ice shards while Clay kept it grappled.

"I gotcha!" Raimundo spoke before whisking her away to safety, leaving his friends to deal with the threat. Dojo sneaked up behind him to study the other dragon. "That doesn't look good..." The dragon shivers upon seeing the injuries the demon has inflicted on the newest member, wincing as Kanako tries to get up. "I'm fine..." Before she tumbled from the pain that quickly intensified as she tried to stand up straight. "Yeah...I doubt that..." He caught her. "Look! You gotta trust us..." Making her almost chuckle at the remarks. "Trust, huh?" Remembering the lack of it between them in the beginning, but pushing that hurtful anger down and turning to focus on the threat. "Then, trust me!" Forcing herself to finally stand. "I have a plan, but I need everyone's help. We need to seal the demon quickly." Knowledge as a Scarlet often involves dealing with similar situations. "The longer it remains in this realm, the stronger and more powerful it becomes by the second, eventually becoming unstoppable."

Never the one for flattery & submissive banter, only arousing more suspicion upon the woman as malice continues to radiate from her bag. Attempts to distract are quickly disregarded for a more pressing matter at hand. As his words stated his interest in what was being so shied away, he could only begin to suspect what lies within.

Eyes narrow as lotus petals swirl & piece themselves together to summon his spear within his grasp. A warning bestowed upon the other in silence. For it would be unwise to let her continue on if she possessed those. Reason or not, to withhold from a deity, a protective one of the very city they stood in, raises concern. Ne Zha refrains from initiating hostility towards the other by pointing a spear, rather holds it at his side, upright, until further assessment can be made.

" You do realize not telling me only hurts your credibility. If you won't tell me why you have it, then tell me where is it supposed to go. I'm not keen on having some mortal play with whatever you have there. It's not meant for the likes of you to keep. "

Seeing his reaction, Scarlet dropped her act and sighed. The raven was not the least bit surprised, as it had come up in one of the hundreds of scenarios she had calculated. Cracking her neck from side to side, she heard a loud pop. "Ah-! My neck..." Making her wince. The phantom thief had been under a lot of stress. That her body and mind were working overtime, and the exhaustion in both forms was beginning to show.

Sigh, How she yearned to go to a spa for a deep tissue massage.

Given the tense atmosphere quickly building between them, it was obviously pointless to provide a detailed explanation. The raven knew she had to wrap this up quickly. And dilly-dallying was the last thing she needed, adding to an already long list of enemies and immortals hunting her.

"Can a woman keep a secret to herself?" Scarlet wore her glove as her hand reached for the 'Torn Whip' before moving to fasten the satchel across her chest. "And I’m not just any mere mortal..." She snorted. "I'm a Scarlet!" Two vials dropped and rolled out of nowhere, releasing a smokescreen as a distraction.

"The pleasure is all mine," she said after the handshake. This guy acts like a nobleman. That's certainly something!

"Oh, he did manage to get it to you, that's good news." Ai looked over the schedule on the tablet. "... Yep, that's it! Really going above and beyond for me... I hope that everything will be okay with him. I wonder what exactly he meant by enhancing it, though?"

She looked back up at Akihide. "Well, today was supposed to be a rest day anyways, but if you want, we can try to get ahead of schedule. How's that sound, Trainer?"

Since they will be working together for a while. "Well, since it is your rest day, we could get to know each other better." Akihide suggested. "I understand you have an upcoming race. We can focus on routines or workouts that will prepare you for the upcoming event." He paused. "Especially given the poor weather and rain, which might affect your performance as well…" Studying multiple racers having the same issues battling the elements, as it tends to change the whole playing field.
