Candy Apple - current available! She uses she/they/crisp/sugar/char pronouns! Crisp is autistic and goes through periods of nonverbality, which can be triggered by overstimulation. She sees sign language as crisps native tongue as crisp learned that before beginning to speak verbally! They are on the younger side, and love both sparkles and bows :)! "There's an ant hill being built over here," the birdie answers cheerfully. "I'm watching them make it!" He gestures at a patch of dirt where there is, indeed, some ants piling up dirt around a small hole.

He stares for a bit, then looks away with his face turning a deeper shade of purple. "Uh. That's a forward way to ask. You do know most wolf packs are parents and their cubs, right...?"

A painting remains in an abandoned mansion, slowly crumbling from the years it remains empty. The painting remains in the basement, far from the light of the sun and sky…. The only other cookie who remains in this mansion is a criminal in hiding…. And a relative to Black Sapphire Cookie…

Fount enters the mansion, alone and nervous. Storm used to live here... maybe I'll find some clue to where he is now...? He walks slowly, carefully, worried about disturbing anything too fragile, the only sounds being his talons on dusty tile...

The space behind the portal is dark, though Fount and eachother are all clearly visible as the trio walk. Star leads them on, to another portal that opens somewhere clearly indoors with gentle lighting that's easy on the eyes after being in the darkness of the portal space. Fount spends most of the walk absent-mindedly stroking the painted Storm...

The hum flickers again, it liked that clearly…

After a bit, as he's leading the way out of the pocket dimension and into a room clearly designed for relaxation, he asks a question. "What themes do the two of you want for your rooms?"

“Maybe a marbled red and black look for mine… something that’ll remind me of home..” Bloodstone responds.

“I, don’t have a preference yet.” Was all that Silver Crystal said

Fount nods, tapping the nearest wall twice before two doors form next to where he was standing. "Pick a door, and the Spire will lead you directly to your rooms. You'll be able to access them from anywhere in the building once you've stepped in and gotten yourselves settled down some, just by thinking of your room and moving towards the nearest wall. And you may explore freely afterwards, if you so wish..."

The two moved towards the doors.. so this was their new lives now, at least it would be with someone who cares about them like Cinnamon Storm did..

Fount gives a gentle smile and says one more thing: "If you exit your rooms without a specific destination in mind, the doors will lead to a hallway that holds the doors to my room, Candy's room, and Sapphire's room as well. The exit to that hallway is always at its nearest end. It can be an intentional destination, and it should make it easier to reach someone if you want their company, or just to visit."

“Alright… thank you, fount..” Bloodstone responds, maybe she can see Black Sapphire later..

He nods, "Of course! Make yourself at home..."

With that the two disappeared into their rooms, leaving the owl with the painting… that’s still very much humming with familiar energy.

The owl looks at the painting again. Thinking once more, then moves to leave the room in pursuit of the art gallery. "Maybe I could paint the tree we planted together...? It's grown nicely over the years..."

The hum flickers a lot, like a lot a lot.

"I have the strangest feeling you'd like that... maybe some day, I'll be able to show you..."

There was a slow, faint flicker at that… man now can a feeling be this expressive?

Fount doesn't comment, thinking and petting the painting once more. They make it to the art gallery, but it's clear this won't be the painting's final destination... and sparkle's heading towards a counter on the far wall

There were bottles of acrylic paint on the counter, the hum flickers hesitantly.

Fount carefully puts the painting down and looks through them, clearly searching. "Did they use up all of my watercolors and other paints...? I may have to make more..."

The hum remained quiet for some time before flickering again

Finally, sparkle finds the watercolors! And pulls them out to check. "Hm... these might not be able to cover up what we're trying to hide, actually... seems one of the kids as taken a liking to using them, too. I'll have to get more soon..."

The hum flickers more, it’s getting more insistent..

A hum from the owl as well, and Fount looks back towards the painting. "I'll need to see what works best, but I do believe I can have her replaced by the end of the week..."

It seems like the hum kept getting insistent whenever the owl came to paint over her, constantly flickering and intensifying.

The owl does seem to notice after a while, though it doesn't seem he knows what's causing the hum. After a bit, however, while painting a tree trunk over the unwanted face, he murmurs "There's something more to this than just paint and canvas, isn't there...?"

At that the hum gets more desperate, like extremely desperate

A quiet stare for a moment, then, softly, "I will need to look more into you, then, my mystery. But carefully, as I don't want to damage my love's visage, nor that of the children..."

The hum dims again, god this thing really did have some emotion huh?

"... but first, let's get this tree done, alright?"

The hum makes a lighter, but not dim flicker!

Eventually the tree covered the cookie that used to be there. The one visual of that cookie now completely gone. The hum flickered excitedly.

And Fount looks proud of his work, if a bit more tired and paint-covered than before. He yawns, then mumbles "Gotta wait for the... paint to dry before I move you..."

Finally, sparkle finds the watercolors! And pulls them out to check. "Hm... these might not be able to cover up what we're trying to hide, actually... seems one of the kids as taken a liking to using them, too. I'll have to get more soon..."

Star leads them on, to another portal that opens somewhere clearly indoors with gentle lighting that's easy on the eyes after being in the darkness of the portal space. Fount spends most of the walk absent-mindedly stroking the painted Storm...

And you may explore freely afterwards, if you so wish..."
