Rediscovering the magic of Paper
Il Cielo d'Inchiostro
Goriās collection Villa Celle, Pistoia (Italy)
16/05/17 - These short clips were filmed during an academic visit of the Villa Celle in Pistoia. Itās a big park where an English garden was sited during the first half of the XIX century; here Giuliano Gori wanted to establish a big collection of art installations. Mostly every artwork was planned for the area selected by the artist. The only limitation was not to change anything of the existing behavior. For this reason, what youāre going to see is a magicalĀ exhibition, a wonderful place where nature, plants, rocks, metals and the ground are alive and engage in spatial relations held by the air and the light.

Electronic Renaissance Bill Viola
23/03/17 - Some weeks agoĀ I went to Palazzo Strozzi in Florence to see the last Bill Violaās exhibition. I didnāt know the artist in any way so I was quite surprised to see his artworks for the first time.
It was an awesome journey through video art expressed in an uncommon way; I was so enthralled by the way he used this modern and technological medium to refer the art of the very ancient times of Middle Age ad Renaissance, simply by resuming the classical and biblical iconographies and giving them new life using movement and contextualizing them in new spaces and times. You already seen that figure before, but here itās a completely different concept, the result of a clever process of resemantization. If you come to Florence you should absolutely take a look at it, no regrets! http://www.palazzostrozzi.org/mostre/bill-viola/?lang=en
Anatomy study made with Tayasui Sketches Ok, I have something to say about this app. Basically that's quite more interesting than Paper. It's actually better from many points of view. You'll agree that one big advantage is the possibility to connect many BT Styluses and so being able to use a powerful tool like Adonit Pixel. I love Paper, but I feel so limited, especially when I look at the wonderful tools it provides, simply because the only stylus that allows to completely make full use of them is actually too "amateur". I mean, there's an amazing and potentially perfect concept behind it, but that bold and soft tip is the thing that spoil it all. Seems stupid, however the possibility to use a sharped tip, with a pressure sensor too, is in my opinion the killer feature of Tayasui Sketches. Oh, I also noticed that Tayasui Sketches recognises the tilt angle of the Adonit Pixel, even if it works only with the pencil tool. It's cool and strange at the same time since Adonit didn't tell about this feature anywhere.
A - roots
A is the very first letter, the beginning of a sequence which defines the ways we communicate. Similarly, the charcoal was born at the dawn of the primitive artistic language, one of the early communication tools held by humans hands, with which this letter was impressed on paper with three rude, straight and strong strokes
Just done 2 things today: first I created Nebula, my own journal, to share my experiences about my professional and artistic progressing in design that I feel inspiring or valuable in some ways.
Then, I decided to join the #36DaysOfType. Follow Nebula if youāre interested in my ideas, but most important, contribute yourself to this wonderful challenge! Get here -> http://www.36daysoftype.com
