My favorite movie as a child was The Last Unicorn, I watched it so much that at one point I had memorized every word. I like cool cars, drag queens, Americana, luchador costumes, cannibalism as a motif, and studio Ghibli. My 5 year plans includes acquiring an early 90s Miata. Technology makes me angry. I think this tells you enough about me.

Anyway, when I was in college I was constantly going to marches and protests against canadian and saudi mining projects in the Santurbán páramo, one of the most important ecosystems in Colombia in terms of biodiversity, and the source of drinking water of 30+ municipalities in my state, including the city I live in. Ultimately these mining proposals lost their license due to environmental regulations.

But now that our new far-right president elect is looking to suck up to imperial core powers once again, canadian mining corporation Aris mining is interested in re-starting mining projects in Santurbán. Which, would inevitably give cyanide poisoning not only to my city's drinking water, but 30+ other municipalities and indigenous communities.

The imperial core will see one of latin america's veins and go "is anyone gonna cut that open?" and not wait for an answer

shitty MS Paint 3 minutes doodle, nto entirely accurate: When you have your pinky hooked on the “bottom” edge of the phone for the extra security so it doesn’t slide out of your hand that easily, you’re wreaking damage on your hand, since the pinky is extremely askew from it’s resting position. You might have noticed that when you hold your phone like that for long time it begins to hurt, like when you are gripping a pen too tightly for example.

Green lines - the fingers are going their natural way. Red line - the pinky is way off, that’s bad.

Yeah I permanently damaged my wrist during a 2-3 week phase where I was obsessed with doodle jump a few years ago because of this. Got a lot of achievements on the game tho 💯
