Anya often teases Rasp about certain features: his beard, long nails, his red and yellow eyes. At point he casually remarks how he could easily trim the beard or even use magic to make his eyes look normal, Anya immediately tells him not to. She thinks he looks great just as he is.

Birdbrain Blushed. he never really thought about having children. it wasn´t because he didn´t like children, he just never thought he would ever find someone who would start a family with him. but now..

“I..I guess I would like to have children someday..” birdbrain said. “h-how about you?”

“Yes…” Coverton drummed his fingers together nervously. “Birdbrain… I’m an alien, which means I have a bizarre biology and anatomy…”

“oh?..” those words made the scientist curious. He took a sip of his tea and waited for coverton to continue.

“There is a select handful of males on my planet who can reproduce… I’m one of them…” Coverton looked straight into Birdbrain’s blue eyes. “If you wanted any children, I could…”

“…oh, y-you mean…” Birdbrain blushed, he finally understood what Coverton was trying to say. “I..I..think..uuhm..” Birdbrain grinned nervously. “…okay…”

Coverton looked away, feeling embarrassed. “That was completely rude and weird, I’m sorry…”

Birdbrain stood up and walked over to Coverton to give him a hug. “it´s okay..I would love to..you know…do that..with you..” he said.

Birdbrain smiled a little. “take your time, I´m listening.” he said and took a sip of his Tea.

“How do you feel about children?”

The alien nearly slapped himself. Smooth approach. Real subtle.

“ch-children?” Birdbrain almost dropped his cup on the table. he didn´t expect that question at all. “I..I don´t know..I never thought about…I..uh..why are you asking me this?” Birdbrain asked confused.

Coverton rubbed the back of his neck. "Just curious..."

Though he certainly didn't seem like the type, Coverton did wish to one day have a family of his own: a mate to love and love him back... and of course, a child or two.... Coverton was a rather unique specimen, even for his species. A little less than half of the males on his planet were capable of conceiving and carrying young, just as any female. Coverton was part of that male percentage. And given his relationship with another male, this was probably the only chance he had... and he probably just blew it.

Birdbrain walked up and down in his Lab, with a worried face. It´s been 30 minutes since he called Coverton and told him to come over. “he´s gonna be here any second! What am I going to say??” Birdbrain muttered. “Who?” the Owl asked….

“Hello, covey…you´re problably wondering why I wanted you to come over this late..“ Birdbrain said and grabbed Covertons hand. “I got something special planned! what would you say, if we watch the sunset together in my Helicopter?“

Coverton looked at Birdbrain in shock, before slowly smiling. “Certainly…” He purred as his thin fingers brushed over those soft blue feathers.

[ask-birdbrain]

“Fantastic!“ Birdbrain shouted and ran outside where is Helicopter stood. “It only takes a minute!“ He said as he started the maschine. He flew high enough for them to have a perfect view over the whole town and the sunset. He switched the helicopter on autopilot and went to the back, where Coverton was sitting. Birdbrain took a deep breath as he sat down next to coverton to watch the sunset. “..well? what do you say?“ he asked and scratched the back of his head nervously.

“It’s beautiful,” Coverton smiled. Watching the sunset was always one of his favorite pastimes, ever since he was a child.

[ask-birdbrain]

“yes..it´s..it´s quite…romantic isn´t it?“ Birdbrain said and put an arm around Coverton while blushing.

Coverton had taken a regular seat in the helicopter, his hover chair set aside. He growled softly, nuzzling Birdbrain’s neck.

a wide smile spread across Birdbrains beak as Coverton nuzzled him. He pulled Coverton closer and made a delighted cooing sound.

“… Very romantic…” Coverton purred as he continued to nuzzle against the birdman.

Birdbrain grabbed Covertons arm and turned his head to give him a kiss.

Coverton pulled Birdbrain towards him, deepening the kiss.

Birdbrain hugged Coverton tightly and rubbed his back.

Coverton purred, nuzzling against Birdbrain and basking in the affection he had always longed for.
