After a conversation with my mom today about the events in Texas of last night, I decided to dig this up and post it. This is important to keep in mind. The reason these anti-abortion bills are awful is because they do NOT help to lower abortion rates, but they DO make abortions less safe for low-income women.

Statistics, back me up.

That is the outrageous thing about the SB5 bill. It claims to make abortions safer, when in reality it will make them less available and therefore the abortions themselves LESS SAFE.
