intro post

hi i'm ashley and this is where i post all things goth related.

not everything will be strictly goth but thats most of it. im really into horror punk so i might occasionally post things related to that

i post original photos & upload things i find online sometimes but this blog is mostly reblogs. this blog mainly runs on a queue.

i try to tag things a lot. some tags are for specific things but a lot of it is general organization. "ash talks" is for me talking about shit & "my posts" is shit i post but i mainly use that one for reblogs from my main. pictures ive taken are tagged "my photos" and pictures i found elsewhere are tagged "my uploads"

Had a dream there was this “goth diner” and all the food was like inedibly heavy and greasy and kinda disgusting, but Angel and I were looking through the menu and they had their list of burgers and each was named after a different musician, it was like “the Robert Smith” “the Carl McCoy” “the Andrew Eldritch” (I tried to ask what was on that one and they said it was only for the kids menu and wouldn’t tell me), then there was one called “the Nivek Ogre” and I asked what was in it. The menu didn’t have any info about any of them just their names. And they brought the chef out and he showed me that it was just a crispy chicken sandwich with a fried egg, but on top there was melted cheese and then a layer of real dollar bills melted over it, and it was wrapped up in barbed wire, so to get to the burger you had to rip through dollar bills and barbed wire to eat it. 😭

Who's the most Gothic character of all time? Mina Harker? Cathy Earnshaw? Mrs Danvers? Someone else I cannot think of? This is what we want to find out. First, submissions. Submit a character here. I am not looking for goths, I am looking for gothic characters. These categories can intersect but often don't

If the work of fiction the character is from is not generally considered Gothic, please provide an explanation for why this particular character should still be in the tournament
