[Music I drew with]
I felt like drawing Feenie after Dahlia’s trial, at the scene where everything had begun to break apart for him…
He cries because he is not quite able to believe yet that everything he and Dahlia had was nothing but pretence, that his love and devotion merely have been taken advantage of and were unrequited all along. Even though his mind tries to convince him of Dahlia’s guilt - which has been proven after all - he can’t help but miss her. Some part of him still wants her back, wants to forget that horrible day, all its events, and simply go back to a time where he and his wonderful, beloved and loving girlfriend would happily share lunch together. He cries because he cannot.
Doug Swallow was killed and, even though it has not been his fault, Feenie can’t help but think that he maybe would still be alive if Feenie had believed him when Doug tried to warn him about Dahlia; if he only had listened, and not been so blinded by his unconditional love for the demonic woman. He thinks he is somewhat responsible for Doug’s death.
And because of all that Feenie feels terribly sorry. Betrayed. Guilty. Alone. He gives vent to his emotions and he cries. He has yet to leave his past behind… But luckily enough he found just the right mentor to guide him into the right direction.
