The Frostbite Writer
The impossible writer. A walking contradiction, so beautiful, with pain wrapped all wound you. Your characters taste the best and worst of this world, just like you did. And they get hurt, covered in scars and with their heart in pieces, but they keep walking, pain in their eyes and in their every step. But just like your characters, you don't give up. Everything hurts, but you still go on. Your stories are deep, sometimes the reader needs to read through the lines, sometimes not, but the feelings you describe linger in your reader's hearts for long. You're able to leave a print. Usually you write stories that carry with them the burden you had to carry, but when you write about a pure love, your readers will find the comfort of a hug from a loved one. You're passionate, love hard and forever. Frostbite Writers tasted the bitter of life, and know how to keep immortal a feeling. Your stories will make your reader lose themselves in another universe, and when they come back, something will be changed forever.
One word: accurate.
ty for tagging bb !!
fire writer: You burn. In the night, under the hot sun, you burn. You shine in the darkest nights, bringing to your readers an immortal fire. No one is able to portray feelings better than you. Emotions burn your characters, making them matches in dark rooms, lighting up everything, and burning from their own hands. Your best is shown in short stories, where the flames of your character’s souls can burn brighter than ever, and become ashes. Your stories hold the most passionate love, soft sighs whispered against a lover’s skin, and the neon lights of a night club. Pain is your second name, and you don’t mind it. Wars, betrayal, yearning, a/b/o and enemy to lovers are your favorite tropes. But when you decide to comfort, the fierce fire that burns in your soul becomes the warm hug of a blanket in a cold day. Established relationships, per-relationship fluff and medical fics are great at showing this softer side of you. Keep burning, and show everyone how hard a fire can burn, even in the coldest of the nights.

@cherryblossomsenpai! Thank you for the tag, lovely!
I feel attacked by my results. But, I do enjoy pain. The kind that makes you hurt so good, and makes you feel so alive. Fluff is a close second.

Old Kingdom Series – The Realm of Death
a sound, like bells, in the darkness by TourmalineGreen
Reylo + Garth Nix fans, you need to read this fic! Rey and Ben have some interesting parallels with Sabriel and Touchstone in canon and the little changes make them fit so well. So far there are two chapters, both based on Holehallow.
My main is an Old Kingdom blog, so obviously I had to moodboard it. 🔔🗝️
An unstable Kingdom, its regency on the brink of collapse, plagued by the Dead. A man who wields bells against them in chill waters. A hunter who knows little of the future, save that a necromancer will be the one to kill her. It always leads back to Death - doesn’t it?
Interregnum is a multi-chaptered, novel length prequel fanfiction set twenty years prior to Sabriel, the first book in the Old Kingdom series by Garth Nix. Terciel, presently Abhorsen-in-Waiting, and Nerysiel, a hunter, are thrown together in the Old Kingdom’s final hours prior to the fall of the regency, and an old adversary of the Abhorsen bloodline wakes to see it through…
Alternatively: the story of how Sabriel’s parents meet, fall in love, attempt to save a collapsing Kingdom, and send many, many Dead back into Death in the process.

✦ @booksociety’s Underrated Faves event: Sabriel by Garth Nix “ ’Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?’ ” Sabriel quoted, the words, redolent with echoes of Charter Magic, twining around her tongue like some lingering spice. Those words were the dedication in the front of her almanac. They were also the very last words, all alone on the last page, of The Book of the Dead.
