Okay, so she knew him. That was good! He was pretty sure it was good anyway. Though, come to think of it, most of the city had heard about Spiderman one way or another by now – he was getting off track. “Uh, yeah, actually,” he replied to her question, nodding to the cop she had saved, the bad guy currently webbed up against the wall, head lolling and face bruised. “Seems to me like, maybe we’re on the same side?” Her voice was sharp, defensive, but she didn’t need to be. He wasn’t there to get in the way, he just wanted to help.
Finally, she seemed to calm down enough to walk over to him. “Here, lemme try something first,” he said, and Karen loaded up his webshooters with the antiseptic spray. “This should bind the wound, and disinfect it. Hold her still?” he asked, nodding for her to move her hands, though she was doing a good job of applying pressure. Once he had a clear shot of the worst of the wounds – a stab wound to the officer’s left side – he sprayed. It stemmed the bleeding, but it wouldn’t last forever. “My AI, Karen, she’s already got officers en route,” he told her, putting a hand on the girl’s shoulder. “Nah, I just came in at the end. You’re the one who saved her. What’s your name?”
Felicia was hesitant to let go of the woman’s wound, but despite her not trusting people in general; she could trust the spider to be the good guy ... So she did. She let go and let him do his thing. As expected, he did a the right thing. At the mention of officers coming she went rigid- obviously she didn’t have the best track record with them- however she was distracted by the hand that came to her shoulder ❝ I almost left ... You saved her, see ❞ she pointed at the woman’s wound ❝ Just take the credit, looks good on you spidey ❞ She offered him a smirk.
Her eyes glued to the spot where she presumed his eyes were. Sadly, the moment was cut short by the sound of sirens of cop cars. Her eyes drifted to the cars that arrived at the scene. Doing Fisks, or KinPin, bidding gained her a reputation that made all of this a sticky situation. Here she was next to an injured cop, and while she had no history of getting violent like that -seeing she was in and out in no time, before anything altercation- she was still the bad guy so the cops were quick to assume and quick to draw their fire arms. ❝ I'm Black Cat ❞ Felicia finally answered Spidey’s question ❝ and I am obviously not the good guy ❞ She tried to drill into his head once more. Her arms went up as a sign of surrender, and she began to rise slowly. However, it wasn’t enough and still a trigger happy cop shot her bicep. A grunt left her and she began to escape, that’s when the shots really began. She made it to the top of the nearest building and jumped a couple of roof tops before settling down. ❝ No good deed goes un-fucking-punished ❞ At least it had been a clean short, through and through.
