Itās nice to finally be recognized. Okay so aesthetic wise Iām thinking my brand of humour would work really well for a slapstick type show. Kind of like I love Lucy, something that like but wayĀ more modern. But I want a Loony Tunes moment where I look directly at the camera and do my catch phrase. Something Iām still working on. But how does that sound for a concept?
An old fashioned sitcom, thatās a good idea. Depending on where this ends up going, it could be a good idea to have everything modern and throw a filter over the whole thing to make it look like one of the old, black and white tv shows like that. Thatās a good concept. Itās enough to start thinking about lyrics. You can make a list of some of the things about your life and yourself that you want to feature in your song, via lyrics or imagery in the music video as a starting point. You can work your catch phrase into the song, and make it something that you say more than once. Maybe during, before, or after a chorus. Do you want this to be like a storytelling song, the story of your life? Or are you more into it being about you, like describing who you are as a person? Either way, you can write jokes into your lyrics and you can write physical pranks and slapstick gags into the music video. Making a music video is a lot of little pieces and ideas coming together. It would help to have a journal to throw ideas in, and organize lists. You can start there, making lists of jokes youād wanna use, lists of gags for the video, all that. Your gag list can be as simple as stuff likeĀ āfall on banana peelā or like some kinda elaborate setup.
