This is a conversation that will make some of you reactive, but it's something you need to sit with.

You all need to make peace with paraphiles. You don't need to like them, you don't need to agree with them and you can think it's disgusting, but you need to make peace with them.

You need to learn to separate fantasy from action and reality, and you need to realize that to fantasize about something is not a desire to physically commit an act. You need fantasy to safely explore what causes your paraphilia. You need fantasy to deconstruct it down to its basest elements to find healthy outlets.

Even then, fantasy can be fun. It can be fun to explore things you would never do, and it's not morally wrong to make silly posts about fucked up things. If it makes you uncomfortable to see people having fun with their desires, you need to learn to walk away. Both to protect yourself and to protect the other person from your gut reactions.

You'll notice I didn't give any examples in this post, and that's because I don't want to have any comments of "Actually OP just has pedophilia/beastiality/necrophilia/whatever" Because that's not the point. The point is that you need to recognize the desire of paraphila as something harmless without direct action.

The "But what about the children" argument means absolutely nothing when people are going out of the way to carve out their own adult only spaces to avoid children. Who are you protecting when you invade those spaces.

yeah, us transfems get targeted and terminated disproportionately. especially if our blogs have barely 1k followers or under that. if we're loud and outspoken enough and when we have a good standing with the community we can rebuild somewhat and contact some of the mutuals that we lost, but its also important to think of all the others that have lost their blogs and can't do anything about it and give up on continuing to use this website. we lose friends forever. our DMs are gone, and our drafted posts too. we lose a part of our history, of our online identity, of the only place we that we can ask for help, vent and get support
