Even if you don’t believe the abuse claims you all can’t deny the major double standards of this society! Winona Ryder shoplifts during a point in her life where she was struggling with mental health and she is ostracised and sees her career completely plummet. Johnny Depp is accused of abuse and it doesn’t even cause a blemish on his career. That is such a double standard and you all have to recognise how messed up that is, regardless of whether you’re a “fan” of his or not.

As the men of #MeToo start plotting their comebacks, let’s remember what women’s comebacks look like.
