The witch-burnings did not take place during the “Dark Ages,” as we commonly suppose. They occurred between the fifteenth and eighteenth centuries– precisely during and following the Renaissance, that glorious period when, as we are taught, “men’s” minds were being freed from bleakness and superstition. While Michelangelo was sculpting and Shakespeare writing, the witches were burning. The whole secular “Enlightenment,” in fact, the male professions of doctor, lawyer, judge, artist, all rose from the ashes of the destroyed women’s culture. Renaissance men were celebrating naked female beauty in their art, while women’s bodies were being tortured and burned by the hundreds of thousands all around them.

Why do people even bother buying things for their cats?

1. Do not kill bees, they aren’t trying to hurt you and rarely sting (because they die if they sting) chances are they’re buzzing around you because you’re wearing a bright colour and they think you’re a flower
2. If you see one on the ground, it’s probably not dead, try feeding it some sugar water or put it on a flower so it can get energy
3. Put bee friendly flowers in your garden so they have lots of pollen and maybe put a bee house too
4. If you have a bees nest in your attic/garden/shed etc, don’t call an exterminator! Call a bee keeper instead so they can be rehomed rather than being killed
Bees are very important and must be looked after! Without bees, humans wouldn’t survive

what she says: “i’m fine”
what she means: “olivia from the 2006 hit ‘she’s the man’ was blatantly in love with viola, not sebastian, yes a part of her fell for the lyrics that sebastian wrote, but olivia fell for “sebastian” the most in moments where viola was letting her guard down and expressing her true self, also olivia specifically said that she was physically attracted to “sebastian’s” facial features.
iit makes no sense for olivia to completely disregard all of her feelings, even if they were confusing, for viola the moment she revealed that she had been pretending to be her brother.
I’m sure ten years down the line olivia will be in an unsatisfying marriage with sebastian having long realised her true feelings was and is for viola and there’s always a lot of tension at family get togethers, especially when they drink wine together in the kitchen.”
