❝ this is my hell. ❞ the avengers compound was a fortress with great magnitude of security. the x-men and the avengers did not see eye-to-eye on several situations and their way of handling things were usually polar opposite. the avengers placed the needs and safety of humans above everything. meanwhile, mutants strived for the greater well-being of their own evolution in addition to protecting human-kind even if they did not always deserve it. ❝ if i hear one more dad joke come out of you, i will tell everyone that you sleep in not only hawkeye underpants but with your own action figures. ❞ a sigh, ❝ why do they keep you around again? ❞

" clints grin only grows , looking up to the ceiling for a moment as if trying to think the question over before offering a lazy shrug after another moment .
