“Not yet. I think he will really like this… He asked me to come for dinner tonight and I was thinking about showing up like this to surprise him. I know he loves good tailoring…” Ed replied with a quiet but very noticeable excitement in his voice, his eyes glimmering at the mention of penguin and their date dinner.

“That’s why I wanted your opinion… I don’t really understand why I’m a little nervous about this, maybe it’s because it’s such… a bold look.” Or because he was going on a date with his best friend.

Its     a response that surprises her a little AND SO she has to think for a moment. Mr. Penguin invited Ed to dinner? Was it business or personal? She knew they were close friends at least and given Ed’s obvious mirth it HAD TO BE a convivial occasion. 

After the pause she pipes up again, doing nothing to hide her surprise at the revelation. ❝ Oh my god, of course. I hope you two have a wonderful time. Mr. Penguin really does seem fond of you.❞

So I’m still considering adding Sofia to this blog, I have some ideas & such however, in any case, I want to be clear that I am in total support of @falconeheiress. Her Sofia is very beautifully portrayed & there really does need to be more love for Sofia & the other ladies of this fandom.

For    the moment she ignores him, giving her flippant focus TO THE GIRLS he had brought along, his hit team or whatever the hell he thought of it as. ❝ Ladies! ❞ she beamed. ❝ Welcome to the Sirens, the only club in town where the woman pay for nothing and the men pay for.... Everything. ❞ 

Thres a very particular, almost SULTRY EMPHASIS to her words that mingle with some bitter venom. She doesn’t wait for their reply as her focus immediately shifts back to Victor. ❝Thats a good man. Just making sure I didn’t have to bring Tabby out here- that kitty has some mean claws.❞ throwing a wink its becoming unclear if she’s hassling him OR PLAYING with him and why not? She never turned down a little excitement.

Ed :

“You think so?” Ed asked with a playful smile as he gave her a little pose.

He was wearing his brand new suit and he was more than ecstatic about it, so of course, Isabella had to be the one to see it on him first. He needed someone’s opinion before going out with such a bold look.

No    doubts. He’s always cut a fine figure in her MIND’S EYE but here he was, standing before her in all emerald green splendour, and more so he chose her to witness it before anyone else. stirring a sense of privilege within her that she HAD NEVER quiet felt before. She’s not presumptuous however and her need to hear it from him directly prompts her on; 

❝ Have you shown Mr.Penguin yet? I know he’ll think the same, and if anyone knows a suit it has to be him, wouldn’t you say?  ❞

Who   didn’t have opinions about Oswald and Ed adopting SOME KID from the Falcone orphanage? Though, for the most part she thought it was kind of cute; a little odd family as they were- but surely they weren't exactly the MOST FIT PARENTS. 

Then again who’s parents were perfect? Certainly not hers. In fact she could almost scoff at the whole ordeal because AS FAR as she had seen the Riddle obsessed dork and the bird-like crime lord had made better, more attentive and loving parents than the judgemental, neglectful snobs she was raised by and so the thought SOFTENS HER toward him. She begins again, this time actually trying to answer his question.

❝ He ran into my club. As far as I can gather whoever he was with lost track of him and he got scared. You two need to invest in a better baby sitter. ❞

He replied calmly, rolling his eyes at the answer. For Victor to be blunt with what he thought about things wasn’t vry shocking to anyone who ever met the hitman, but that didn’t mean it was anything pleasant that would come out of his mouth. Most o the cases it was either rude or unsettling.

“Beaky….. Want to talk with you and your ladies.”

She’s    not entirely amused as she slips on her glass OF WHISKY that she had already poured herself before he walked in. None for him. As she listens her lack of enthusiasm continues on however. Seems Mr Cobblepot couldn’t have BEEN BOTHERED to come down here himself━ which she was sure he would consider an insult if the shoe was on the other foot. 

❝ Uh huh. Well it can’t be too serious considering he couldn’t come down here himself, now, could it? ❞
