the party wore on smoothly, you and semira danced till your legs almost fell off, the celebratory shots were endless. as all paul’s parties were, a variety of drugs were available, it was almost disgusting, while you and semira were on the safe side, merely drinking your pants off, while people around you were smoking, snorting and ingesting things you've only heard horror stories about.

you looked back at semira, a silent agreement passing between you that it was time to catch an uber out of there, it was the time of the night where paul’s party started being less about enjoying yourself, and more about showing the next person up, so in short, really terrible fights happened and you did NOT want to be around when the police busts down the door.
right when you were turning around, a flash of pink hair caught your eye, and the next thing you knew, a cup of pink liquid was split all over your outfit. your eyes connected with the person who had just drenched you in what smelt like watermelon and cough syrup — lean ? piercing blue eyes stared straight at you, not a word left his mouth, not an apology, just a questioning look, as if he was trying to figure out exactly why you looked so familiar. although, there was something else that lingered in his gaze, a heat you weren't quite sure of where to place.
unlike him, you clocked it immediately, the person who just bumped into you was nettspend, in fact, the interaction made you regain a semblance of sobriety. you surely did not want to linger long enough in his presence for him to recognize you, so after a few seconds of tense eye contact, you walked out the door where semira had been waiting.
“what happened to you?” she asked, looking toward your soaked top. “I got LEAN spilt on me, and guess who it was?” you said, reaching into your totebag for the pack of tissues you always keep in there. “no.” she spoke, her voice conveying her immediate guess. “yup, slut truck.” you spoke back, the tissues crinkling softly between your fingers as you wiped the now sticky mess off your top.
