I know this scene was used to move the plot forward for Harding, but PLEASE tell me I’m not the only one that found it weird and odd for Lace to stop Rook from going to grab the dagger? When the whole thing was about them finding the dagger. The whole gang finding it, yes, but it still feels odd she’d stop someone from grabbing it before it gets grabbed. Then, she kneels to grab it.

Like….idk. I just find it odd how’d you were saying get the dagger, yet then stop someone from grabbing it when they’re closer than you are. She kinda pushed Rook out the way, gently but still stopped her.

I guess I just wish this happened in a more natural way. The scene of Lace falling off the cliff could’ve been used! Maybe the dagger was falling with her OR was being pushed off the cliff during the fight and Lace grabbed it because she was closer, and then the rock she was on fell, and then that whole scene happens and what Lace says happens and yada yada.
