an old AU that I never posted here (I think ???) where rollo’s the prince of the Kingdom of Flowers that always turned down alphas, til the king got enough and decided that he cannot reject this specific one…

for time setting, this AU takes place a couple of years after glomas (which they don’t really meet again til the engagement). I think I didn’t really change stuff on malleus’ part, hes just THE alpha I guess

as you can see, the Kingdom of Flowers is not doing a great job (very traditional), as opposed to Kingdom of Briar. we love a repressed rollo in this house, and malleus’ll help him deal with his painful heat later

some main reasons why rollo’s heat is horrible:

1. hates being ‘vulnerable’ so he abuses heat suppressants alot, messing up his cycle

2. again, never been taught how to deal with his heats healthily

3. the most stressed guy ever obviously

ANYWAY im probably gonna draw more of em in the future when im finally not so busy all the damn time, gotta color rollo’s outfit and other stuff,.,..arrggh

Do you think rollo would try and support malleus when rsa vs nrc competition begin?

This is probably biased and all but 100% yes. I think RSA’s lowkey a common enemy if other arcane academies are also based off of villains, from the new chapters they said that RSA values nominal concepts (like love and belief) and NRC students never understand why those things could be considered great achievements. My conclusion is that NRC’s the opposite of them, they’re realists, their great 7 never had a ‘happily ever after’ and thats what pushes them to be cynical and less whimsical LMAO. NBC’s icon also being a villain with an unhappy ending makes me believe that rollo (whether he likes it or not or not) would also have similar values to NRC, hence why he’d support malleus in the tournament (begrudgingly).
