Week of Cage!
It's been an interesting week, having watched so many Nicolas Cage films (8 to be exact). Some of them you suggested, some I picked on my own. I still have yet to watch Windtalkers and Raising Arizona but for now here are some of my thoughts on the ones I watched (in the order that I watched them). This post is probably going to be pretty long.Â
Face/Off: My first John Woo movie too! Very well done, great story, and both Cage and John Travolta do great playing both the hero and villain. The finale at the church blew me away. Great way to start this week-long marathon.
Con-Air: Just as fantastic as I've been told. This is officially my favorite Cage film. His performance is a bit subdued compared to his other movies but the ensemble cast (John Cusack and John Malkovich are amazing) and non-stop action more than make up for it.
The Rock: Cage and Sean Connery make a surprisingly great duo. The premise and supporting cast, and Ed Harris are all a bit lacking though, but it's still worth a watch. And it has my favorite Cage moment (Two Words: Rocket Man)
Next: I really liked it actually. Surprisingly compelling premise, and the acting is pretty good. Give it a watch if you've overlooked it, it's not bad for a more recent Cage film.
The Weather Man: HORRIBLE. I wanted to mix up the list with at least one or two Non Action movies, but this was so boring. Cage's acting is fine, but he's given such a dull role in an even duller story. And Michael Caine is completely wasted.
Drive Angry: Not a great movie by any means, but it has an authentic B-Movie feel, and definitely can be enjoyed in a "So bad it's good" kind of way. If you're a fan of films like Grindhouse or other Robert Rodriguez-type films, check it out.
Sorcerer's Apprentice: Very entertaining! I honestly didn't go into it with the highest of expectations but I was pleasantly surprised. Jay Baruchel is always hilarious. I really enjoyed it.
Vampire's Kiss: Saved the best(?) for last! Sort of put this one off, because I didn't know exactly what to expect. This has one of the strangest plots I've ever seen in a movie but I'll be damned if it doesn't have some of the most entertaining Cage moments ever. This is a must see if you want to see cage lose his shit and go insane.
Okay so look at this magnificent time telling device that I got from my secret santa today.

WHAT ARE THEY EVEN TRYING TO ACHIVE
I donât know but I like it
That type of green usually doesnât appear on camera so they probably wanted  people to see flying waffles and get freaked out by them
er. actually no.
Those are the green guys.Â
Theyâre from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.Â
They are literally celebrities here. They totally mean to be seen, and theyâre very very popular here. They started out a few years ago, and now one even has a book published. Â The lighter one is Force, and the darker one is Sully. They sit at the opposing teamâs penalty box and like to make fun of players, and have even appeared in Pepsi commericals and billboards.Â
How is Canada even real?
FOR REAL THOUGH
i live in edmonton and i remember members in my family being excited when they showed up bc theyre so?? cool?
Every hockey fan must respect the green men⊠Even tho I hate Vancouver
i always love the green men
I feel educated.
